Because he fought six rounds southpaw in the Marquez fight?

Anyway, yes Narvaez is being underrated, but he's also past prime an well over his best weight, and he certainly was never a monster. He's a flat-footed defensive counterpuncher type a la Sven Ottke.

If Narvaez performs better than Montiel then he's a monster. :D BTW he's not a last minute challenger. He's a midget tho.

As of 2 days ago Donaire was with in 4 pounds to make weight what is normal so get you facts togeather, yes it is harder for him to make weight then before that is why he is moving up beside other reasons $$$, but weight is not effecting him this fight. Narvaez not going to KO Donaire go tell the kids on the playground mybe they will belive your story.

there wont be any competition at all. Navarez is gonna get turned into a bloody mess and violently KTFO´d. The only point of that fight is Donaire showcasing his skills other than that its a huge mismatch

Narvaez is a very good fighter: he got skills and can fight in a lot of ways. But Donaire is too fast, too quick, too big, too skilled! I expect a very dynamic and impressive performance from Donaire.

Thats what Ive been saying all along. Narvaez is the only top 115 pounder left for Nonito to defeat and then everyone will say Nonito is the greatest bantamweight of all time. Narvaez has dominated bantamweight for a long time but its now Nonitos turn.

Everyone is underestimating the little **** either because of ignorance or cuz he`s short, but this guy has a difficult style, experience and boxing knowledge, he`s not a walk in the park i assure you that. This fight will be long and difficult for Donaire.

I know nothing about Narvaez; however, being a boxing historian of little fame, I've, learned over the years to not fall in love with icons, and never underestimate fighters from Argentina. I'll always remember the sportswriters from Rome, Italy "1970" using the phrase ("Carlos Monzon - Who are you?") to described Benvenuti's easy upcoming title defense.

Nonito is on the Pavlik route, Narvaez is a carefully selected, undersized opponent with limited power. He is however very highly skilled so this could be interesting. But Omar will have to overcome a huge physical disadvantage, so in all likeliness Donaire will win.

    WAR NARVAEZ! Pull a Maravilla!
