Time for a reality check on Dawson

From what I've seen, Dawson looks completely unimpressive. I don't really understand why he gets even this much attention. When it comes to talented but flawed boxers, I can look at Judah and Gamboa and understand why people give them attention, despite the problems in their style or mentality, because they're physically gifted in quite a clear way. Their styles are distinctive and have 'flavour' to them, too. Dawson, on the other hand...there's nothing about him that interests me, and throwing Hopkins on the canvas and then throwing a tantrum after the match doesn't help.

 

I've been saying this for years! Seems the guy is missing something in the mental aspect of the game. Although I will admit he did look good in those '2' rounds. Maybe he's gotten it together, shame the fight ended the way it did cause now the jury is still out...

Me too, if Dawson had not have tackled Hopkins he would have done nothing at all in that round.
