Brilliant! Seriously, is there anything worse as a fan than being tired all night and forcing yourself to stay up because you want to see another performance like Donaire vs. Montiel, only to have a rugged veteran make it a damp squib for 12 rounds? That entire fight was thoroughly **** from the first round until the last. I could count the number of clean punches on one hand hurtful shots on one finger. Terribly boring fight. I still think Donaire is an amazing fighter though but this was atrocious matchmaking.
Another early start, you're right. If that game is defensive and boring, I'm done with all sport and will just lie in bed for the next few years.
Honestly, looking at the way it panned out, you may not be far wrong. Why was the fight in New York and not the west? Why such a awkward, tough opponent? Ugh...I'm knackered. I can't be bothered to type.
The most annoying part was how Narvaez's camp thought they won or had it. What ****ing planet are they from? LOL.
I didn't mind this fight too much. Was quite interesting for the first 6 rounds. I'm just thankful there was actually a fight on (sort of) after staying up all night for the Hopkins debacle last weekend.
Watching fights on record is never the same. Even if you don't know the result, it just feels different. I can't record a big fight, watch it at 9am with my breakfast and get excited. If it's a good fight, I love staying up to watch it. If it's a shocker, I'm not so pleased.
Why would you stay up to watch this fight? I stayed up to watch BHOP v Dawson and was really angry at the result
