Can't say either would be a total cert to win it to be honest.

If I was putting money on it, with both being at evens, I think I may stick it on Tyson.

A prime Tyson beats Lewis. At his very best Mike would keep coming in and could box.Look at the Tucker fight,he had to take good shots from a much taller, very skilled(took Lewis 12 a good 5 years later)fighter and came through to win on the cards. At his very best Mike was not all about the big KO,he could box a bit.

Very difficult one to call. I think if lewis stays away from the big shots he wins. If he gets tagged tyson wins but I think overall Lewis just had too much ability for Tyson an would have kept him away with the jab and frustrated him. I also believe a prime Holmes beats a prime Tyson as well.

Prime for prime Tyson wins it, he would have beaten any heavyweight when he was at his best, even Ali. I also think Lewis would beat Ali also, Ali was a bit over-rated for me, people only thought he was the GREATEST cause he kept on saying it, great showman though

You are entitled to your opinion, but what evidence do you use, to make this opinion?

Lewis showed an ability to find a way to beat everyone put in front of him as a professional. He also showed an ability to win fights that he looked like he was losing. What fights did Tyson show these qualities in?

Tyson was a knock out artist if he could walk you down or draw you in, and as we all know you could do neither to Lewis.
First 3 rounds Tyson shows lateral movement while pushing forward trying to cut off the ring, Lewis evades on the constant double jab on the back foot.

Next 3 rounds Tyson tries to walk his man down getting more frustrated lunging forward with hooks getting wider and more untidy, Lewis getting more openeings double jab right hands and one twos.

Round 7 Lewis takes centre ring while staying nimble sitting down on punches inviting Tyson in getting big left hooks off. Breaks Tyson's heart stoppage for Lewis in round 11, IMO ;)

ps I was a big Tyson fan (pre ****) I was not a fan of Lewis's style found it boring but affective.

Lewis in my opinion, He would be careful early on and would keep Tyson on the end of his jab and then up his work rate in the mid to late rounds eventually getting him out of there, also when Tyson was in his prime he had a lot of his opponents beat before the fight began I don't think he would have been able to intimidate Lewis which would show later in the fight.

Lewis, too big, too strong, too clever, sometimes a fighter just has another fighters number a la Holyfield with Tyson, Lewis simply is too good for Tyson, prime for prime, Id take Lewis to stop him in about 9 or 10

Lewis, too much of everything, tyson only had a punchers chance but would be smothered when he came inside

The idiot who pointed out tht Bruno and Holyfield said Tyson would win obv knows nothing about boxing. Lewis wasnt in his prime when he fought Bruno but Tyson was.

Lewis wins. Would have to go through a few rough patches on way to a close UD.

Lewis handles Tyson everyday of the week

Even when Tyson spared with Lewis in the younger days Tyson had a good first round but Lewis had Tyson worked out by the second round.

Tyson has a chance in the first few rounds but once Lewis adjusts to Tyson then its game over

I say if they fought 5 times then Tyson wins 1
