Marquez is not coming into this fight as his usual LW self, he's still bulking up slightly, only this time he's using a nutritionist. If the weight impacts his speed, then he's in alot of trouble.

 

I think the game plan for Marquez would be to come in as light as possible even at 140..

 

The intensity that Pac put into his training shows that hes taking this fight very serious and is aware of the fact that he can lose.Hes not playing Marquez cheap, and I can understand it because those last two fights you will notice that Pac was the most relieved man in the ring when the fight was over.He couldnt even say that he thought he won the fight without looking down.24/7. It could also be possible he's trying to get them to be as wild as possible in response in order to run through him. That is after all what they keep saying Pac is going to do.

It was the second fight where, by most records, Manny lost the fight. It's the way I see things with those two. The more Manny tries to box the better Marquez can out think him. Manny has to use his speed and power to come in and out from angles and overwhelm Marquez' counters. That means taking a few good shots from Marquez, but if he can keep it going, he will win either by late corner stoppage or by UD.

 

I noticed that too. Pac is looking really fast and most likely Roach is planning on really stopping marquez early.

50/50? LOL! Man I wish I could find people willing to put cash on those odds somewhere. Only one guy has improved since the last fight (the other has slipped a step actually), and only one guy actually benefits with the additional weight. This probably won't even be competitive. Pac by pure KTFO isn't even 50/50.

 

Whats the glove size? hopefully 8oz so we can see some damage from both fighters.

 

Yes by watching the Mosley fight we could all tell Pac has improved alot. Just look at the way he handled Mosleys lateral movement. And not once did he get off balance throwing his patented 1-2 left hand.

I think key here is the lateral movement. It seems Pacs legs cramp from fighhting someone who gives him lateral movement. If his legs cramp late in that fight he will be in trouble. JMM fights all 12 rounds and when he smells blood....

 

Thats actually a good question. Technically it can be either. Really just a pick of what they want to use. Im sure Roach threw in there that they should be 8 oz. which i dont mind at all. JMM has to keep Pac honest and i dont know if he can with the bigger gloves but we know he can with 8oz.
