People sometimes forget that Floyd was ringside for Pac-Morales 2. He's seen Pac up close for a handful of rounds, so he has a fair idea of what he can do in the ring. Personally, I don't think any single element worries Floyd -- I think it's the total package that makes him wary. He's handled southpaws before, he's beaten quick-handed guys, or powerful ones, or fighters with good chins, and even ones that kept coming at him constantly due to good stamina and mental strength. As far as I know, however, he's never faced a guy who combines all of those qualities, and has a few other tricky ones too (good combination punching, unusual angles). I also favour Floyd against Pac, but he doesn't seem to be as confident as many of us. He's also not getting any younger, so the more he delays, the worse the situation could become. (Unless he plans to never fight Pac.)
Why doesnt he just quit being a ***** and fight him? He's bigger and physically stronger then pacquiao for **** sake, roids or not. This is ***** behavior and you know it.
It is accepted science that you can't trust Asians. Exhibit A: Pac's little known assistant trainer This content is protected
its all pbf's fault the fight didnt happen....after all the guys he fought, he suddenly ask a blood test on a midget??? on a ****en midget!!!!
Personally, I've never believed this fight would not happen. The way it's come across seems to be that Mayweather camp does want a mental advantage over Pacquiao. But that doesn't mean he's afraid. He's a fighter. It's what he does. Mayweather seems to be buying his time for the right time and opportunity. He wants this pay day to really be worth the trouble. He sees a fighter that does everything that would play right into Floyd's counter sharpshooting. I think he sees it as an uphill battle against someone who's using an enhancer like EPO. You could hit him as many times as you can, as hard as you can, and he won't go anywhere. No matter how technically flawed he is, the potential PED use would keep him able to hang in there even when the fight is in the 11th and 12th rounds. The benefits of this kind of PED use can be described by what Manny Pacquiao looks like in the ring. It gives extra stamina, it raises the threshold of pain, it increases awareness, it helps muscle mass, and many other things. I believe that Manny's special blend is EPO and Testosterone.
Why does that have to be EPO? Hagler, Marciano, Lamotta, Pryor, and Chavez were the same way (could take punches and keep going) and if a 147 version of those fighters existed today clean as a wistle Floyd wouldn't fight them neither. Floyd has been able to break down most of his opponents and he sees a fighter that will require him to use more of his HEART. I think that's what trouble's him. He will have to go to another place heartwise that he doesn't want to go to beat Pacquiao.
It's not Pac the fighter. It's Pac the celebrity. that and a beef with Arum. All of the insecure quotes have very little to do with anything Pac can do in the ring. I truly believe he thinks Pac is an inferior fighter to him. Whether that's true or not is irrelevant. He feels as though since Pac isn't on his level as a fighter, he should fall in line like other opponents. But him being a hard ass on the drug testing Arum beef. This isn't about fear.
Yeah, a midget who's doing what has been proven to be almost impossible. The billing and the hyping of Manny Pacquiao makes it sound like he's using PED's. The ONLY fighter to move up so many weight divisions without losing speed, power, and stamina. Even coming up from 130 to 140 something, there is still supposed to be a decline in something. If it wasn't that way, there would be no need to highlight it as Manny is the first and only to ever do this. What he's doing is uncommon and can be considered to be humanly impossible. Let's not forget that he's moving about through weight classes with 3 months in between. If he's not going to take the test, there is going to be no fight. I think that's what he sees. The threat only comes with the use of PED's. No PED's, no threat. It's as simple as that.
how is it random if you know the blood testing starts 5 weeks before the fight and ends right after the fight? Nothing random about that at all. Conte is on record saying most athletes use dope months before they actually compete in an event, all of his atheletes passed olympic testing that was 365 days a year.
