He would be a threat at 147lbs, problem is nobody would fight him.

He needs to hit the weights if he wants to fight above 147, he's way too skinny

As long as he stays with his crminally negligent and egoistical coach/father-figure/leech he is finished. Given that Paul is dumb enough to keep listening to that dude, and with amout of punishemnt he has already taken I see a minute chance of him making it through.

the man suffered a serious concussion in the martinez fight. its akin to sidney crosby getting rocked and ending up with memory loss for 1 year.

it's likely that he won't be the same anymore

You're just mad cause you're hearing painful truths you don't like to hear. A lot of them are truly hype jobs that's why they continue to disappoint you whenever they lose. Nothing new about it.

Now you want him the avoid certain fighters cause you want him to look good against fighters that are taylor-made for him. Fighters that are meant to lose against him. LoL

Nah I think the jury is still out. He can't fight southpaws, but against righties he still might have success.

He's definitely not a gatekeeper, yet. He's still a viable top 10 contender.

manny steward as his trainer might be the only way for him to possibly go forward with his career. otherwise i doubt P-Dub makes noise.. shame as i also really like PW.

Yeah. Classic case of a glass jaw getting exposed, and a career going south as a result.

Williams is still a good fighter... but the problem is he is too much of a fighter for his own good. If h boxed and used his height more he wouldn't have taken as much punishment as he has...but than again he wouldn't have been as fun to watch. For all you guys hating on Williams, remember the guy has always prided himself on being a warrior and giving the fans exciting fights. Instead of hating on him and calling him a hype job give the man some f'n respect. He's fought a lot of top guys and guys no one else wanted to fight

He'd beat the **** out of Khan at 147, so if you consider that being mid grade or whatever so be it, but he's good enough to do that.
