Is the usual overrating of Linares prevalent? If so I flat out refuse to watch. I've had enough of this.

It's primary function is to hype an HBO product. Do you think an 'in-depth documentary' would draw the punters in the same numbers?

Its cinematic and well put together. I wouldn't go so far as to label it choreographed neither. Its not 'modified reality' like the only way is essex or the hills or whatever.

It ain't Boardwalk Empire or even Geordie Shore but its good fun, lighten up.

quite enjoyed that, never knew the Romanza was named after 2 fighters, Gilberto Roman and Daniel Zaragoza who was a great name and win for Morales to announce his name on the world stage. The more stuff we see in Mexico the better IMO, it's a breathe of fresh air, we seen it all before with Pacquaio.

Been thinking of going travelling in Mexico for a couple of months and this is defo 1 of the places i'd like to visit

Roach has already said Pacquiao can't make light welterweight anymore and if he is a natural at 140 then why not fight there?

Even before Mayweather didn't bother trying to make the catchweight people were calling him out on fighting someone like Marquez, all this despite Mayweather being a small welterweight and nobody having any idea how Marquez would make the step up in weight.

Yet here we are some 2 years after seeing JMM get completely schooled at that weight we get to see a 38 year old Marquez fight there again against the P4P#1 and people are talking as if it's going to be a great fight.:patsch

Marquez is going out whenever Pacquiao feels like it.

it was a great 24/7 IMO, just pure old skool. No fighters on rollercoasters with rappers or showing off their mansion to soldiers risking their lives in wars.
Dont get me wrong, Im not knocking Floyd jnr. Hes made 24/7 his own, but it was great to watch two no-nonsense hard as nails modern day legends just doing what they do, without all the drama.

& to think back in the day Scotty Harrison had the JMM fight on a plate, it was even listed on boxrec! I even remember Scottys quote about the fight...
    aah, memories.
