Donaire doesn't fight often. So, he doesn't have as many rounds as the greats like Pacquiao or Juan manuel Marquez. He often has years and months off and comes back then has lay off.I think Nonito needs more challenging fights like this, a learning kind of fight, to polish his skills and athleticism thus develop a quality product. I heard Bob is going to give him 4 fights next year.Gotta love the BOB FATHER.He knows what he is doing. When Pacquiao debuted in the U.S. he had more knock outs wins than Donaire has had fights.

A learning experience for Nonito c'mon this guy is going to be 29 next month lots of years in boxing (10) not active enough he is probably worst than Floyd in this department taking time off.

When a guy is coasting to a win there's not much need for change.
I noticed when he went to the body A) He got countered a couple of times and B) He got warned for low blows.
Easy nights work for Donaire, barely got out of 1st gear.

    "I'm bored" - Donaire, round 11.

Nonito had problems with throwing bodyshots because the strike zone was so small. Its like a pitcher trying to throw a strike at a short batter and always getting balled out. Narvaez had good elbow defense and with his shorts up and movement, bodyshots were almost impossible.

Donaire is a BUM! Fight someone your own size and age. Can't wait to see his ass knocked out cold when he moves up in weight. He thinks he's all that. Please, Donaire your a bum!

The challenger didnt put up much of a challenge there. The champ did what he was supposed to do and that was to defend it. What was there to defend it from anyways?

Except he didnt. Narvaez won 2 rounds clearly, and edged out another. Unless of course you base your scoring on how Lederman's biased ass does.

Good post, BR. Lots of blame to go around for Saturday night's flop. Arum certainly deserves recognition as the primary colpret considering he never publically considered the most legitimate opponents (Mares and Agbeko) as possible options but rather settled for an overmatched and unknown fighter. And, if I'm not mistaken, Donaire-Narvaez was finialized prior to the Mare-Agbeko rematch being agreed upon.
