it totally ruins the sport for the fans in several ways

A kills any drama when the cards are read, thats the mystique of boxing you just never know who is gonna get their hand raised

Mormeck Bell 1- close bout Mormeck had the lead but it was close and he didnt know the score so he kept fighting and got KO'd in an action packed fight

Mormeck Bell 2- had open scoring fight was like the first Mormeck was ahead Bell was coming on, Mormeck knew he was ahead by enough he stopped engaging played safe we were robbed of some good exchanges and a possible come from behind KO

The fight was stopped because the cut above Vitali's eye caused by the thumb early in rd. 3. It should have went to cards -> TD win for Vitali.

Vitali won the rematch via Lennox retiring out of fear.

Thats interesting. Cunningham-Ross Cunn thumbed him in the eye with a jabcausing a cut and alot of swelling and it was stopped. IT was ruled TKO and Cunn has been ducking a rematch but i felt that TKO ruling was bull****, as do many others.

In the Klychko documentary when they show the Lennox fight after the cut is opened they show Lennox in slo-mo "lacing" Vitali multiple times, jabbing with the inside of his glove (palm/wrist) facing Vitali's face in order to scrape the laces along the cut. Was very dirty.

 

Boxers of today are average boxers !
