Usually there wasn't anybody around to live in a slugging match with him. Henry Hank was just a very, very tough fighter. If you want to see Tiger dominate his opponents in a brawl then watch his fights against Fernandez, Fullmer, Gonzalez, Rivero and Carter. As for Henry Hank, you can't go wrong with him in any fight.
thanks yeah i was looking up Hank out of 30 or 31 losses i believe he was only koed once and that was because of the ref stopping it due to too much punishment
And against Bob Foster no less. But yeah, this is definitely one of the great slugfests in Middleweight history. Hank didn't win many rounds, but he made every one of them fiercely competitive. In the end, Tiger just seemed to be made of iron, and out-worked Hank consistently.
yeah i only gave Hank the 5th round but he fought well also in the 10th round Hank hit Tiger with a hard right hook (or left cant remember) and Tiger didnt even move
I think I know which one you're talking about. It was a massive left, snapped Tiger's head right back. Didn't even seem to faze him. Probably one of the hardest punches I've seen land cleanly that a fighter's just walked through.
today ive watched Dick Tiger vs Henry Hank and Fernendez both great fights i think im going to be checking more fights of Dick Tiger out this week
Anyone ever see a copy of this fight thats not interlaced? Thats what gives it those weird lines when they are throwing punches. Whoever transferred it or digitized it originally didnt do it correctly but Ive never seen a transfer without those lines.
