I don't like to make predictions but I'll chance one here: Berto will be better now that he has a loss under his belt.

I want to see Berto-Zavek II. Berto was spent, taking well placed hits and on his way to getting stopped in the later rounds if not for that headbutt tearing Zavek's face open. I hope Golden Boy does something stupid like matching Ortiz up with Senchenko/Solomon. Get their boy schooled by a small name fighter.

yeah would be fair to get a rematch but as far as i know Berto need to fight next bailey as if Zaveck would win he would have to face Bailey as well (it was a contract made like that)

great idea. get them back in the ring.

Fight can go either way cos neither boxer can take the other guys punch very well.

I think Berto wins this time.

Same fight all over again. Both taking big shots again.

Apparently too late to teach either any defense.

Berto apparently working on stamina though.

    Another toss up.

I WANT TO SEE THIS BOUT VERY BAD BUT THE WAY BOXING IS NOW DAYS IT WILL BE PPV AND SEEING $50.00+ PRICE TAGS ON A CARD WITH ORTIZ BERTO AS THE MAIN EVENT WOULD MAKE ME SICK:verysad

WHAT YOU GUYS THINK WILL THEY BEND US OVER FOR THIS ONE OR GIVE US A NICE TREAT

WITH ALL THE TALK OF PUTTING BOXING ON PRIME TIME TV THIS WOULD BE A GREAT BOUT TO GET HUGE MAINSTREAM INTEREST INJECTED BACK INTO THE SPORT.

AND IF ITS HALF AS GOOD AS THE FIRST ONE THINK OF THE WATER COOLER TALK THE NEXT DAY.

COULD BE THE SHOOT IN ARM WE NEED.:bbb

I'd like to see it and it should happen at some point in the future. What is up with Ortiz anyway? He should be scheduling another fight soon. Who is on his radar?

Have it next year, with the winner of Khan/Alexander and Berto/Ortiz going head to head for the best young fighter at 147.

Yes as it would be exciting for us but Berto needs to get another big win. His last fight he was lucky was stopped due to cuts because i forget his name but he was winning it and looked like he was on route to stopping Berto. Berto is too hittable to beat Ortiz. Its ovious he hasnt changed anything and this late in the game probably wont.

Ortiz is now the name fighter and Berto either has to take short money or win another big fight.
