    Appologies on the Mosley point.

You do make a good argument , I just dont see it . Also not you in particular , but Cotto gets very little respect on here due to two losses , one to a modern great who lests be honest would behead Vargas and the other was under very suspect surroundingss.

I think Cotto is one of the most appreciated, and liked guys around here to be honest.

Quartey is definitely someone to get excited about beating... Vargas was no joke. Neither is Cotto.

Too many people on here are too damn quick to say elite fighter A just blows out elite fighter B. When you're at Cotto's level, or Margo's or Vargas' for that matter NOBODY just walks right thru you. Any of those guys could fight competitively with Tito or Oscar. They wouldn't be favorites but they're sure as **** not patsies. Vargas might have kicked Tito's ass if it wasn't for the low blows and the wraps and he DID beat Winky. Close but legit.

Predicting an early KO is nut hugger nonsense! Tito would probably stop Cotto, but not early. Tito would have to keep working, keep pressuring, and keep landing clean shots. That would wear Miguel down, slow him down, and give Tito the opportunity to put Miguel away. Coincidently, I just this minute finished watching Hopkins/Trinidad for the first time in years. I have no doubt that Trinidad would beat Cotto, but early? That ain't happening!

I know this is off topic, but is there some kind of beef between Trinidad and Cotto? I know that Trinidad has taken a liking to Juan Manuel Lopez... you always see them together and Trinidad is always at his fights. But I don't think I've ever seen Trinidad and Cotto together.

Felix would have destroyed Cotto. No question! I do think Felix would have felt the canvas at least once.

Tito was stop him in the second half of the fight. But Cotto's work to the body would cause Tito some significant discomfort. This is not a mis-match.

I agree, boxing isn't black and white like that.
