This drug testing BS has been the gayest thing ever, but why won't team May accept a 7 day cut-off?

In the Mosley fight, the last time they blood-tested either fighter was over 2 weeks before the fight. For Ortiz, it was over a week before the fight.

It pissed me off that this fight hasn't happen yet, but to be held up by this bull**** is ridiculous.

All of this is done out of fear and nonsense. Floyd need to nut up and take the fight.

Bored of this subject. But leading up to the Mosley bout, neither boxer knew what date the tests would cut off, as far as they were aware...they could have been tested randomly at any point in those days leading up to the bout.

It was not an agreed cut off date.

That's my contribution to this thread, I won't return.

7 days, random...honestly, no real boxing fan gives a damn. People just want the fight made.

If they never fight, 10 years down the line, people will realize how stupid this whole debacle is. And Floyd's reputation will the be the only one that suffers because he will be seen as a *****.

Well Manny should take the test. I have said several times that USADA will not test all the way up to the fight. They don't have to and Floyd just wants that as an option to keep Manny from even thinking about cheating.

they'll both suffer from this. But MetalLicker, you probably weren't aware of this. But before the initial talks were broken off by Arum, Mayweather offered a one time 14 day cut off date. Pac's camp walked away from that. After the mosley fight, Floyd said he wouldn't go back to the 14 day cut off date and stuck to his initial guns. Now you can you view those facts in any way you so choose. But just know that had the 14 day cut off been initially agreed to, we either have a fight or at the very least can get a definitive answer to whether Floyd was actually looking to get out of the fight or not. But to be honest, agreeing to everything else and, even if for a moment, willing to come off of the full random testing up to the fight doesn't sound like someone trying to get out of a fight.

    I'm just sayin...

Exactly.. They all say it's not safe to test within 7 days and USADA knows this, so why the **** won't dude agree if all of you people not in the business are so sure he won't be tested close? Makes no ****ing sense. Either these ESB medical professionals don't know what they're talking about or Manny/Arum are refusing the fight for some reason.

Because he's not and only his naysayers believe this due to a personal agenda. Nobody with common sense and no bias for either party can look at the above situation and reach the conclusion Mayweather is solely trying to avoid the fight.

The whole 7 day cut off is no longer an obstacle. Pac has clearly assessed the topic and emphatically said ALL of the Floyd requirements are met....obviously Pac is aware they would test the day of for obvious reasons but at the juncture we are all waiting on Floyd to make it clear he wants to fight Pac.. unfortunately Floyd has switched gears from the promotion of his comeback fight with Ortiz in confidently stating Pac is next to what we have now..... The same "smoke and mirrors" or the good ol' "bait and switch". Who knows if Floyd will ever have the desire to fight Pac? I'm not holding my breath.
