Was that an impressive performance by Golota - all things considered?

It's the truth. He beats the hell out of them, and, unfortunately, thereby causes permanent damage. Mollo looked fine after the fight, much better than Andrew, oddly enough. I hope that he is OK. I also hope that Andrew's eye is OK.

Randy Neuman is one of the world's worst and most crooked referees (Joe Cortez is another). Why is he ALWAYS assigned to Andrew, and why don't Andrew's people protest!?

    _________

He most certainly did in the Grant and Ruiz and Byrd fights.

Always that crooked *******, Randy Neuman, assigned to dog Andrew! They also assigned him to dog Wlad. He let Peter get away with rabbit punching all night.

In the Grant fight, George Foreman - the only announcer I had any respect for - was irate because of Neuman's blatantly biased refereeing act. If you have a tape of the fight you can hear him. Then, later on when Andrew got knocked down and got up again, instead of just waving them to continue as would normally be the case, he kept asking Golota, who doesn't even speak English all that well, if he wants to continue.

Vs. Byrd, several times Andrew punched Byrd and Byrd's hands touched the canvas. Those should have all been ruled a knockdown.

Vs. Ruiz, he didn't stop Ruiz from douing his close dancing hugging act.

And, yeah, the judges are crooked too. That goes without saying in boxing.

Where do they get these boxing judges, like Melvina? Are they all Don King's friends and relations and former cellmates?

I don't know what that is apropos of, but when I first heard that joke, when I was about 13 years old, I kept thinking about it and bursting out laughing for weeks afterwards!

Aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, did you enjoy the show?

Boxing wise he did OK considering his age and ****ed up shoulder but he is so far gone punching and reflex wise it sucks watching him fight mentally stable now knowing what he could have did then.

Mollo tried everything he could against Golota like the bum rush tactic and the Ruiz clinch. He also tried to **** Golota off by talking **** during the fight in the mid rounds. He fought dirty and threw a few headbutts(one clearly aimed at Golota's already ****ed up eye)and Andrew didnt flinch.

All things considered age/opponent/mental stability/****ed up eye it was a descent performance but nothing to get excited over for the future.

golota impressed me saturday against mollo, they said he's 40 years old i thought he was about 50 already i dont think he can perform good against the elite at hw but mollo definately made him look great. hope he makes some quick money and retires with it.
