    He doesn't.

If I had a ticket to the fight I'd certainly want some sort of explanation though.

Just lad the lad get his head sorted. Was it unprofessional ? Of course. But like what was stated in a previous post, if your head isn't right you don't make rational decisions. We were all geniuses on here with hindsight after what happened to Sutherland. If he wants to air his problems in public, fine. If he doesn't and none of us find out why he pulled out then thats his own business. But he has got to get his head right and boxing should be secondary at the moment.

fish eyes should just throw him in a sink or swim fight, and if he looses he can pack his bangs and open up a chippy in birm

Gavin is now 26, not exactly a spring chicken.

It seems to be one thing after the next with him. The diet, the personal problems, etc. Now he has not done himself any favours and promotors will know that they are taking a chance by putting him on their bills.

Its hard to be confident that he will come good.

A terrible shame the fight is off. I was looking forward to seeing him in action and hopefully put on a good show.
Hope he can sort things out and get back in the ring as soon as possible.

He doesn't have to come on here and explain anything...but it is up to the promoter to explain what the **** is going on to the paying public, the people who actually bought tickets. A replacement is all fine and dandy but when you buy tickets to watch Birmingham City v Wolves you don't expect to turn up at the stadium and be served up Oxford Utd v Cambridge City.

Frankie has some problems to sort - unlike 99.9 percent of us he CAN'T have a day off. In boxing years Gavin is a baby, trust me.
It's not a joke for us to dismiss - let's give him some time and judge him over the next 12 months.

    Adios.

Think a lot of people are just annoyed/disappointed because most of the problems SEEM to have been there for a while but he still signed to fight pretty recently etc. Regardless of anything I'd like nothing better than for Frankie to get this sorted asap and make the most of his potential as hes a massively talented fighter but seems a sound lad as well

Shame as well as Frankie said he was due to fight tomorrow but then December and February as well so that patch of activity would have been perfect but I guess personal stuff comes first (although there are certain fighters out there that can thrive on something like that or are at least able to put it to the side)

His problems, I think, are new. He has to get on top of the aggro and quick. It's that simple. I'm as pissed off as the rest of you but I know his problems are genuine.

    Adios.

I feel for the fans that have paid to see him fight, Frankie hopefully will get this stuff sorted out. Rather him do this then go in there and lose or look woeful.

Frank's patience is wearing thin though..
