so you think carl froch will be the one to show us jc makes all these mistakes when 44 have failed so far, sorry but i cant see it.
I think Carl Froch is an excellent fighter, but listens too much to his promoter about the 'traditional' route etc - OK its great and all that, but why step back to fight for a British title when he could have had a shot at Calzaghe? Froch should brush Inkin aside, then take on Bute for the IBF strap, then whoever wins the WBA/WBC belts when Joe vacates.
Hmmm...where to start...? Froch is not excellent. Let's see if he is world class first. He fought Reid because he made a lot of money doing it and it was easy. He could NOT have had a shot at Calzaghe because there's no way Joe would have fought him, for what would have been the point? Froch should brush Inkin aside, yeah, and if he does, he would become WBC Champion. Afterwards, he'd fight someone crap...like Joppy...and the earliest he could fight Bute, realistically, in a unification fight, is early 2009...but would he? He decided not to fight him last time, preferring to fight Tatevosyan instead...I hope he does, though. This fight needs to happen, if Froch gets past Inkin. :good
Reids right hands where giving Froch trouble. Kessler's could put Froch's off balance with that poor mans Roy Jones style. Calzaghe would Lacy Froch.
Froch has got to be the most underrated fighter I've ever known. He's clearly dangerous, with speed, reflexes, a chin and power to spare, but I'd say over 90% of people who post on this forum think he's a bum and so poor he's less deserving of a shot at Calzaghe than Ashira and Manfredo.
I think he is more worthy of a shot at Calzaghe than most of the 20 odd challengers, but he had an offer to fight him and turned it down. It was probably (well, almost certainly) too early for Froch, but why not say so, instead of claiming your promoter made a counter offer and that Calzaghe is avoiding you. I think Carl Froch is world class, but as you say it's time to shut up talking about it, and go and prove it!
