Tyson Fury. "I want Povetkin next".

    Possibly a couple of fights to early I think but it would be funny to see Fury equal Haye's HW legacy within 18 fights and 23 years old.

    Better than Rahman or Holyfield. In fairness Boswell probably does finally deserve a title shot after all this time and it is only for the nonsense WBA belt.

    I'm wondering if this Neven Pajkic character is a step up from Chisora? It's hard to tell really with the woeful state Chisora turned up in against Tyson, he claimed that was due to some type of injury, hernia perhaps. From what I can remember of Chisora before the Fury fight was that he was a poor mans Sam Peter, he was basically Danny Williams 2. Even if in better shape I expected fury to beat him easily on points. It's also possible that Firtha was a step up from Chisora, who's record isn't the best but has lost to decent opposition at least.

    Chisora fights again himself in the next week or so against the extreme steroid joke fighter Big Larry O and you would think if he has any type of potential at all he will put that clown down within 4 rounds.

    Haye won his first world titles in his 21st fight, in his 22nd fight he cleared up the division, not to shabby.

    Except he wouldnt reach Haye legacy by beating Povetkin, he would have to do alot more.

    Haye legacy was

    Euro cruiserweight champ
    Undisputed cruiserweight champ
    Belt holder (WBA) heavy champ -


    Around 3 top class wins Valuev, Ruiz, Mormeck


    If Fury won- He would have 1 top class win and equal to the heavyweight achievement to Haye.

    Whats funny about Povetkin is he talented enough to beat the guys outside the top 5 quite easily if undramatic.

    If one looks at the WBA rankings Alex could easily take on the following and still be champion end of 2012-

    2012
    Mar E. Holyfield

    Jul H. Rahman

    He probably will try something similar to that. He has around until then until he has to fight Wlad, at least I think so anyway.

    Which was Barrett, Harrison, Ruiz and Valuev.

    I agree. Fury's win over Chisora is better than all of Haye's win at HW apart from Valuev IMO. If Fury were to fight and beat Povetkin (which I think he will) then this would be a better win then the NV win Haye has because Povetkin is unbeaten and considered the third best HW out there by some.

    The Firtha win alone is as good as the Barret, Harrison, and Ruiz wins that Haye has.

    I don't particularly like Fury or Chisora but how is Fury's win over Chisora better than all of Haye's at HW bar Valuev? At least Harrison, despite being a joke of a challenger, was a European champion. Chisora hadn't beaten anyone, he had 2 decent wins over Sexton and that was it. Chisora came in flabby and was beaten relatively easily, but was by no means out of his depth. I believe people are getting carried away about Fury, I think Povetkin Helenius and Price would all beat him. :rasta

    Fair enough. I think even though Audley had a European belt doesn't mean it was a good win. Ruiz was way past it, and Barret gets beats by any competitive fighter. Chisora was the favorite for the Fury/Chisora fight and Chisora was deemed "good enough' to fight Wladimir Klitschko.
    I understand that Chisora did come in overweight for his fight with Fury, but what can Fury do about that?
    And i agree with you saying Helenius would beat Fury, but for me he beats Povetkin and you can't say Price would beat Fury when he (Price) hasn't beaten anyone yet.
    Also if Fury improves his defense then for me he beats anyone in the division bar the Klitschko's and Solis.
