15 rounds.....intriguing match up for me.. I like Byrd in this one, because Page had some problems with boxers, Spoon, Jimmy Young, Bruce Seldon.......but I don´t know, I tend to overrate Byrd......and there are people with great knowledge on Page here..... Your opinions please.... who ?

Page at his best takes a clear decision assuming the judges aren't paid off like they seemed to be in Byrd's career . One of Byrds biggest problems was that he couldn't really handle a good jab and movement too well because of his rather stationary style. See Fres Oquendo.
Page would win a UD or possibly a late round stoppage in an at his best scenario, he had the power to do it.But that was very rare, so Byrd would probably take a UD in a boring fight.
A serious Page of 1983 who hammered Snipes for a solid decision win would be a very live dog for 2002 to 2005 Byrd in a time machine....... Overall, a toss-up........ I like '83 Page..... MR.BILL
The Page from 81-83 takes this either on late stoppage or a unanimous decision. But if he's unmotivated, and fat, then Byrd takes the unanimous decision win, he doesn't have the power to hurt Page.
Byrd was a pretty consistent fighter. On the other hand, Greg Page was pretty an up-and-down type of fighter. But one thing I am pretty sure of. The Greg Page which beat Gerrie Coetzee is going to beat the best version of Chris Byrd.
Byrd is under rated imo. The era he found success in is arguably the most difficult for him on paper.
