I don't believe Arum said that. And if he really did, then I don't believe he's serious about it.

A win for Margarito on December 3rd would make him a name again. You guys seriously think Arum would then sacrifice him against Martinez, when he'd have the option of milking him for a few more fights instead? Of course not. Expect Margarito an immediate opportunity to avenge his Mosley loss, if gets by Cotto.

But with that said, I'd love to a Martinez-Marg fight.

Really? P Dubz no longer brings anything to the table these days. The one thing that he did have - the 'World's Most Feared' tag and the glory that comes by beating him - rapidly vanished in the two fights he had with Martinez. He's not worth the risk, I think.

 

Mike Jonez vs Cottoe would be good fight. They can even do it at 147:yep

 

Marg is a bum... but the question is can Cotto figure that out??? Or does Marg own him mentally... One thing is for sure, Papa Bob no matter what will definitely give us fans "What HE Wants"... so no point to look for good matchups, just more Top Rank mismatches.....

 

i've been a pwilly hater for the longest of time but starvin marvin can fight, there's a reason why nobody at 147 wanted him, his only real weakneses are crafty southpaws.

he should change trainers to ronnie shields, robert garcia, roach or even unca roga to save his career.

 

That's why I think he can get the loser. If Margo loses, he can still make money going against Williams in a rematch and it could reamp the winner's career.
