FREDDIE ROACH insisted Amir Khan will never fight Manny Pacquiao no matter what money is on the table. Roach, who trains both fighters at his LA gym, reckons there is simply too much respect between the two world champions. Ahead of Pacquiao's WBO welterweight title defence against Juan Manuel Marquez in Las Vegas next month, Roach said: "I don't see it happening. "I don't think Manny and Amir will want to fight because they have so much mutual respect. "They have some fun together in the gym but I think they have enough respect that they won't want to do that." Floyd Mayweather has been chasing a showdown with Pacquiao. But he is now being lined up to face 24-year-old Khan the IBF and WBA light-welterwight champ next year.
Jeez! If you are going to make thread titles misleading you should link to the comments you are lying about, not put them in the first post. That way people read the thread title, can't be arsed clicking the link to read the comments and assume the thread title is accurate. Schoolboy error.
Got it from the sun. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...cools-talk-of-Amir-Khan-v-Manny-Pacquiao.html
I wish reporters will stop asking the same old shitty questions. Roach and Khan are probably tired of repeating their answers time and time again.
I was going to say the lad who startd this thread needed a job with a cheap tabloid newspaper for the sensationalist pish in his title, then I scroll down three replies and its from the sun.....says it all.
Maybe but then all of Pacs recent fights have been pretty one sided. Khan would provide a stiffer test than any other opposition apart from Floyd IMO.
