What chance do you give Bute to T/KO Johnson?

Bute puts Johnson out on his feet around R10, looking to see 3-4 consecutive rounds of Bute body shots to break down the Warrior. Uppercuts to the chin are on the schedule as well.

Johnson is way past prime and lost his efficiency as a relentless pressure fighter with decent pop, at world level that is. IMO Johnson stops Stieglitz even at this point.

Bute have a big big flaw, his hands are always too low, this is getting more and more dangerous as he fight better competition, don't count GJ out, he might surprise us or Bute might let us down. Let's see from what he's made of......:bbb..... I will be at the fight, let's only hope for a good clean fight without any controversy.

There's a nice spread of opinion here. Quite a few people give Bute a decent enough chance! More than 50% think he has at least a 1/3 chance of stopping Johnson. That is remarkable!

I honestly think Johnson has the ability at this point to take Bute into deep waters. Will Bute have a plan B in case his initial approach doesn't work? I think so. You can't underestimate Larouche IMO, look what he did with an athletically limited Eric Lucas.

I'm calling for a late stoppage because I think this is Bute's "Hey yo" fight.

He's gonna break Johnson down to the body for the hail mary uppercuts in the 10th/11th. He ain't missing a chance to shine against S6 level opposition after all these months, years of waiting (e.g. fighting mandatories and top 15's). At this point in his career Johnson ain't superman, Bute's in his prime & considered one of the best body punchers in the business.

It's funny cause for the past few days I've been going through threads from 07, 08... ESB's opinion of Bute was waaaay different back then. :D

50%-60%. I think if it happens, it'll be a upper cut to the body. Johnson may have a good chin, but nobody has an iron body.

Since I predict a KO in the 10th round for Bute, I voted for a high chance. But there's still a chance that Johnson body is as tough than his chin.

I voted 80+, but still not because KOing Johnson is some easy task, but b/c Bute is just so much better than anyone Johnson has ever fought.

I voted 'less than 10%' there is no way Bute is T/KO'ing the Road Warrior.

I'd love to see Johnson win but unfortunately I can't see past a UD win for Bute by way of higher work rate and better shots landed...

And even then, Johnson never went down.

I said 20 - 30, just because Bute's a hard puncher and Johnson is getting up there in years, but dude has one of the best chins in the business, and he's surprisingly hard to hit clean.
