Im curious, if hopkins really hurt his shoulder, how did he have the power to

a separated or dislocated shoulder isn't as bad as he initially made it out to be thriving in pain on the canvass, and it sure as **** wouldn't render you unable to stand. Hops is one of my all time favs, but he faked that ****.

 

Allen, Echols, Calzaghe, Jones Jr........ there is precedent to these types of fake jobs Hopkins has tried to pull before.

......and you know guys, something that has'nt been addressed is that the two closest people standing next to Hopkins by their actions knew right away Hopkins was faking it.

I mean both Dawson and the referee were right there next to Hopkins and heard and saw the fall up close.

When someone takes an ugly fall, just the sound of the fall alone is an indicator if its bad enough to cause a serious injury.
.......please, no one is going to tell me Dawson had this ref in his back pocket. The ref right out said, "I'm not calling it a foul." To say that its because his view of it indicated to him, "this guy cant possibly be hurt from that fall, he's faking it."

The actions of Chad Dawson were the same. He was screaming and carrying on yelling obcenities at Hopkins because he knew right off from Hopkins first fake scream what he was trying to pull.

The two closest people to Hopkins knew right off the bat Hopkins was faking it.

.....and I'll even go beyond that. Look at some of the people at ringside where Hopkins took his fall.
They all had looks on their faces like "this guy has got to be kidding us."

Mentally, Hopkins faced a whole crowd in a stadium in Equador and of Ricans in MSG and pissed them all. If the fight doesn't go his way, he turns the fight his way, that's why they call it boxing smarts. Echols was far more powerful than Dawson, slammed Hopkins down and got stopped later on, Allen was also a lefty and Mills Lane pushed Hopkins out of the ring and in the rematch, Berbard did a job on Allen. And you call B'Nard a quitter? Sure, Chicanito (RIP) quit both against Hoya and Floyd, Gatti was pulled out of the Mayweather fight, Cotto quit against Margo, MAB quit after those rounds in the first fight with Pac and Morales after 3 against Pac, even Tommy Hearns quit against Hagler.... Simply say you hate Hopkins and that's it, you don't have to waist any more posts with this subject! there is plenty more to do than just this, you know?

None of the examples you provided had fighters quitting having faked injuries.

Echols, Allen, Calzaghe, Jones Jr.....its probably happened more than that with Hopkins.
But thats four right there. Most fighters will go a full career of over 50 fights and not encounter scenarios like Hopkins does.
......and we're to believe that there's nothing shady or fake about them???
