Again...that's still after the hatton fight. When floyd came back from retirement, pac-hatton literally started the next day. Not a single person mentioned PEDS...not even floyd....then boom, hatton gets KO in the 2nd and Sr. was obviously butthurt. The only way to rationalize it is used the drug alibi....Now Jr. finally find THE PERFECT alibi....there you go. I'll admit he can still school PED-up Pac, but his excuse went from "he is too small and a Morales leftover" to "he's no calling me out" and "a PED user." That's a sure sign of doubt.

I don't think Floyd is coward, he's just jealous, and a bit doubtful. The drug testing is his way of saying drop down on your knees and kiss my feet...pac doesn't one any of those.

A neutral stance, from someone who doesn't give a FF:

1: Pac is almost definitely on PEDS. You don't need a blood test to realize this.

2: Mayweather is definitely afraid to fight him. Only an idiot wouldn't realize this by now. - And PEDS should not be an issue if Floyd wants to go out with respect.

3: If they actually ever fight (I doubt it) Manny would destroy Floyd.

    The end.

" I said sure, give him whatever he wants" Freddie Roach. Who the **** do you think Roach was saying sure to? Arum or Koncz

Floyd doesn't need Manny, Manny doesn't need Floyd. Who can blame them? Pacquiao is getting a shitload of money fighting Marquez at a stupid catchweight, Floyd is making millions fighting Ortiz, who was, and always will be a level below him. What's the point in both risking their huge market value to fight each other? The fight was much bigger in 2009, people got bored, particularly casual fans, so let's move on and not have every other thread on the site about why it hasn't happened. I don't think either of them want the fight. :rasta

I agree with that second part. - but Floyd sure DOES need Manny. His legacy will be forever tainted (SEVERELY tainted) if they don't fight. He might make it to the hall of fame, but with a huge asterisk.

Pac's legacy is secure. In the Pac universe, Floyd is almost irrelevant.

This. Floyd cares more about money than his legacy, and his number 1 priority is himself. So in that sense, he doesn't need Manny. Floyd's resume speaks for itself, it might be tarnished without Manny, but it's a really, really good resume with or without him. :rasta

Regardless of who would win, both would be facing the best fighter they ever fought should they match up. I think Floyd is terrified of losing that 0 though, and of course Pac has no such worries.

Because Manny and team made a fool of Floyd. Floyd bent over backwards to make the fight, he accepted every demand, even agreed to go to the mediator, only to have Manny and team pull out and sign the Clottey fight leaving Floyd with no opponent, not giving a **** about Floyd and his situation, even though they had agreed to testing prior to negotiations. Floyd took their word at face value and they burned him. He stated his new position, went on to beat the champ, and hasn't looked back.

There is nothing neutral about saying Floyd doesn't want the fight if they've really been following everything that's gone on. I don't care if you like or hate floyd, like or hate pac. If there was any side that was doing things that suggest that they don't want the fight, it would Pac's camp. This isn't even about whether you believe Pac is on something or not or whether you think Floyd is justified in making it an issue or not. the fact is, Floyd has been FAR more consistent on the issue than Pac has. The only he changes he made happened near the beginning of the negotiations and they were in an effort to make the fight more likely.

Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, on Friday said Floyd Mayweather's camp "wants Olympic-style drug testing" for the March 13 matchup between the sports' two best boxers -- something Roach said he has "no problem" with in an interview with Elie Seckbach of FanHouse.

Pacquiao's adviser, Michael Koncz, said Pacquiao (50-3-2, 38 knockouts) also would welcome such a procedure when reached Saturday in the Philippines, where he is with the seven-division world champion.

"Our reaction is, 'So what?' We know Manny doesn't take any illegal drugs or anything. And none of this is getting under Manny's skin or anything," said Koncz.

"I'm here with Manny, and to him, it's like a joke. It's a laughing matter," said Koncz. "It's something foolish anyway. Why would we be concerned? We know he doesn't do any of that s**t.":happy
