As me & my pals like a good bevvy for the boxing, we have to rely on taxis, & the Brahead in the dead of night reminds me of the moors in the film 'an american werewolf in London'!

Guzman is too good for AA, AA is far to easy to hit. He'll get destroyed.

If this happens in Scotland I will look to get back for it, especially if it's in summer. Not a great fan of Arthur but I would back him to the hilt against wee ****in Joanne Snoozeman.

No doubt being a Sports Network fighter, Alex will not get the fight if he has to travel!

Wouldn't be the end of the world if it is held in Glasgow, just seems a bit of a lame excuse for taking it out of Edinburgh. He uses the ingliston excuse, but he only ever fought there once...the rest mostly at meadowbank.

Meadowbank is not exactly a mandalay bay, but it has easily housed his fights up til now...not sure why he'd need to move? Granted, it would maybe be a bit on the small side for a bigger crowd he'd expect to get.

Still lots of other options here...outdoor, the castle, easter road, tynecastle...hell, do it at murrayfield infront of about 150,000 people if he's that worried about space!!

As said, not that the glasgow is far away or a hassle to get to...just a bit of a shame there appears to be no effort to stay in his home city (as he's banged on about for years).

Also...tough fight...but got to be in it to win it!

I agree I'm from Glasgow and it will be easier for me at Braehead but it would be better for Alex if he had it Edinburgh. Fans would still make the trip from Glasgow.

Just hire a minibus mate thats what we do and we are travelling from greenock which is further away. only costs about £120 for 16 seater and drops and picks you off whatever time you like.

    Sorted.

I'm hoping it's at Braehead but only because it is five minutes up the road in the car. I'll certainly look to be at the show cheering on Arthur regardless of whether or not it is in Edinburgh or Glasgow.

I just thought there would be some news on the Sports Network site by now...

Its Frank Warren we are talking about here. In other words, were all up **** creek until Frank decides if he wants or needs this fight for arthur.

Call me a cynic, but I have a feeling Warren doesnt want the Guzman-Arthur fight, & would rather have an Arthur vs Mitchell fight this year as Warren has always fancied Mitchell to be his new Hatton.
Arthur is sick of it though, & said only last month he wants no more domestic fights, he only wants the big fights now.

I feel sorry for Alex if Warren doesnt deliver, cos Alex has openly stated he wants to give the fans a big fight. Its ****in sad if Warren cant deliver him Guzman.

Sorry man only joking, I couldn't resist

we should all meet up somewhere ahead of the fight , get walloped and head down !

Even the corn exchange could be an option surely?
