    for a fight that is a done deal, it certainly is taking too long to announce this fight. i'll tell you what fight is a done deal, khan-mayweather in the fall of 2012. it falls right into the pattern of floyd's opponents, GBP in-house with a long enough vacation in between to do his stuffs.

    Mayweather gets praised because he's being mentioned in the same sentence as Martinez, and just because he doesn't cry he gets respect?
    If this fight is announced and I'm hoping it'll be at least at 154 then Mayweather gets 100% credit to me. Even if he fights Martinez at 150 I'd give him some credit cuz you never know. I agree though that Floyd will be fighting Khan.

    I love the pages of posts saying its time for the Mayweather hate to end on just rumors about this fight happening.:lol:

    If he beats Martinez at 160 then he's approaching Sugar Ray Robinson territory. He should fight Martinez at 154 and if he beats him then fight Khan and if he remains undefeated he will have a strong argument as being the greatest fighter of all time. Will he be the greatest fighter without beating Pacquiao? In hardcore boxing fans eyes no he wont, but casual fans might think so.

    I can't find anything about Void fighting Martinez, but there could be a fight between Void and Christy Martin coming up..............

    How old is this thread again???????


    The last time I read it, there was supposed to be an announcement - a somewhat BIG ONE.






    The thing that is sure is that Gayweather will make an announcement on November, before the ZPac-JMM fight. It would not be against Martinez.
