how would wlad do against tarver

I'd give Tarver the edge over those guys in boxing ability.

 

You would also have to take the size difference into consideration and how good wlad is at using size,distance, his speed,jab.
Beating Wlad is very difficult et alone for a cruiser, despite being skilled.
No disrespect to tarver of course.

 

Tarver would get outmatched. Too old, too slow. Yes he has boxing skill left but that's not enough to outhustle Wlad at the top of his game.

For Tarver to win he would need Wlad to make a series of mistakes or suffer a freak injury.

 

If Tarver were to actually beat a few decent heavyweights than it wouldn't be seen as quite the mismatch it currently does. Right now, Wlad simply dominates Tarver, probably by stoppage, but I can see Tarver playing it safe and going the distance.

If Wlad were to face Tarver than that would be pretty bad on Wlad's part. I thought he deserved a lot of slack for facing Mormeck(who also stands no chance) since Wlad has consistenly faced top contenders. But facing two guys in a row, or close to it, who have no or close to no chance isn't what Wlad should be doing. Hopefully, Tarver is just a bargaining chip and the plan is still to face Arreola.

 

Tarver has no chance in my opinion. Too much size advantage for Wladimir and too much power for Tarver. Wladimir would rock/stun Tarver with punches to the gloves.

Come on now. No version? The Tarver that beat Roy Jones if he had heavweight size at least has a shot at Wlad (and I think would beat him)

 

Terver would get starched whenever Wlad wanted it to happen.

Knowing Wlad, he would exclusively jab for 3 rounds. Then when he sees that Tarver offers nothing, he would take him out in the 4th with the first hard right cross of the fight.

 

I don't know about can't handle the slickness he handled an injured David Haye pretty well. I won't say Haye is a slick as Tarver and Toney but still he pretty good.

 

Tarver would just be another no-hoper. Too small. He would simply get destroyed. If either Klitchko ever loses again it will be against another super-heavy like Fury or Helenius...not a fat light heavyweight like Tarver looking for one last payday.

 

Tarver would most likely get killed!
