Hey Holyfield: This content is protected But seriously, I can see Holyfield outbox Helenius for 4 or 5 rounds, but big Rob will eventually land that big right on Holy's chin and it will be over.

Helenius definitely has his flaws, I could see Holy winning rounds and even leading the fight. But man, this wouldn't be a fight I'd pick for Holy these days. Helenius is just the kind of guy that Holy's been fortunate not to fight in recent years. One desperate to make a name for themselves, heavy-handed enough to do damge and young enough to want to knock a respected but old fighter six ways from Sunday to do it. I've felt with one or two opponents in the past (Ibragimov for one) that they had some hesitation, in not wanting to be the person responsible for inflicting "retirement blows" on Holyfield. Williams was the first guy in a while that seemed to have no fear of that. Helenius could be the same.
I see Holyfied winning who is just too technical for the still somewhat amateurish Helenius. Holyfield will fight a good strategic fight and pull out another upset like he did against valuev. The Williams fight does not mean much, it was only 3 rounds and a bad stylistic matchup for the Real Deal.
People are complaining on that fight but sadly, this may be the only way Holyfield will retire. Old guys keeps fighting soft opposition until they get title fight. This kind of matchmaking would prevent them to stick on...
This is all wrong for Holyfield. Holyfield may outbox Helenius (although that's not as for sure as it was a few years ago, Holyfield is OLD) for a few rounds, but eventually Helenius will tag Holyfield and that will be it.
Helenius has already said that he has no interest in fighting Holyfield, since Holy is too old. This was after Liakhovic match. I am a bit afraid that Robert will be more concerned of not hurting Holyfield than in fighting the fight, if Holyfield is the opponent he will be given. On the other hand, this thread is already 5 pages long, which speaks a lot for for the promotional value that Holy's name still has. It would be just the same in marketing the Helsinki event in average Joe's mind set and Holyfield will most likely sell a lot more seats than any other opponent available would.
why would helenus even want to be involved in this match? if you win, you beat a 49 year old that won his first title in 1986 if you lose, you got beat a 49 year old that won his first title in 1986 Holyfield turned pro in 1984 Helenus was born in 1984 no upside for taking this fight
so any news on this potential fight? As Helenius still doesn't have an opponent listed **and was the name Johnson mentioned Kevin Johnson? As in the fighter who talked s*it and proceeded to lose every round vs Vitali? I understand guys having trouble with the Klitschko's and what not but Johnson spent more effort in the fight taunting Vitali and backing up oppose to actually trying to win rounds.
