    I don't know if it's ESPN, or ESPN2, etc....but for those in the US who want to catch the fight, it looks like one of the ESPN network channels will be your ticket. :happy

    For those in the US that want to watch the fight LIVE.
    as stated, it will be shown on ESPN3.com (which they actually just changed the name
    to WatchESPN).

    However, you don't have to settle for watching it on your computer screen. I'll be watching it on a nice big plasma. Here's how:

    If your computer AND TV have an HDMI port, simply connect a cable between the two, and you can watch live on your TV, instead of the computer. This is what I've done for other internet fights, and it works great. I got a 35ft HDMI cable at monoprice.com for around $30 total with shipping.

    There are other ways to connect to your TV, even if you don't have HDMI. Just google what you do have, or search youtube and you'll find videos that show you how to set it up.

    Remember, once it's setup, you can use it to watch ANYTHING (hulu, etc...) on your TV, not just this particular fight....so it's really worth the small amount of money and hassle to set it up.

    You can also access ESPN3 from your xbox360! You'll need a participating ISP, and an xbox live gold account. If you've got those, it's very easy to watch! Just start up the xbox and navigate to ESPN3!

    I agree with the message HBO sends or tries to send to Wald in his oppoent selection by not covering his fights. However he is the heavyweight champion of the world. Mors so than his brother or Povtkin are. If HBO is going to be the flag0ship chanale for boxing than they need to show the heavyweight chmpionship of the world on their air.
    There is a however to this. The however is that I hope this is a trend that contues. Not HBO being picky, but that major fights find themselves on basic cable and network television. I have nothing against the way HBO and Showtime cover the sport. The problem is that you ave to pay extra to see the biggest fights. At the very least you have to sucribe to the chanale and at worst shell out $30-$50. Imange if that was the same for other sports? Boxing strugles for new blood both in the ring and in the seats because it's a nitch sport that you have to make the extra effort to watch.

    The Heavyweight champion of the world is fighting on an ESPN channel, it's sad. The championship used to be the greatest prize in sports.

    American's do not dominate the sport, and that's why it's not as popular in the US. Worldwide boxing is fine.

    And I really don't care what channel it's on, just as long as I get to watch.

    I'd rather have live on Classic or 2, or 3, than delayed on regular ESPN.

    I don't know what they will be doing, but my guess would be live on 2, or another ESPN channel,
    PLUS delayed on regular ESPN.

    Ya, I don't know why people complain about ESPN.

    More people probably have ESPN2 than HBO.
    Most "average" cable and dish packages come with ESPN, ESPN2, Classic, etc... while HBO is always an extra monthly fee, an À la carte channel.

    The money K2 get for Klitschko fights is paltry. They like to repeat this line about "we are showing the fight in 100 countries" or whatever, but the average fee they recieve from those countries is under $5,000. I think it's $3,000 or something, though I'd have to check it out again.

    You can be on ESPN, be shown in 100 countries or whatever, but if they are paying such tiny amounts then it doesn't mean much.
