I know people probably fell asleep during the Dodson and Quigley fights but I suggest people tipping Smith go back and watch them

Groves UD, cant see Smith causing him too many problems if Groves boxes smart.

I think Groves will win quite handily but an element of this fight that will be crucial is whos corner Mick the Rug is in cos both of these are bleeders.

Groves won't stop Smith, but he'll beat him convincingly. DeGale used Smith as a punchbag for 9 rounds and he was still on his feet, there's no way Groves will hit Smith as clean and often as DeGale did. Styles make fights. I expect Smith to hurt George at some point in the fight, but my money is on Groves, UD. :rasta

    Groves mid-late TKO for me.

Groves is the naturally bigger fighter but still needs a bit more time for his strength to develop but I can't see Smith matching him for speed or power when mixing it.

Hope it's competitive, I'm looking forward to it. :good

Groves if he boxes should win comfortably but if he engages Smith and it turns into a slugfest I can see Smith stopping him.

Groves in a close fight Smith shows that he is much better than people give him credit for showing a bit more of his boxing ability.

I think Groves will deal with him fairly easily as long as he keeps the jab pumping and the feet moving. I expect him to target the body and then look to tak him out in the second half of the fight.

Gallagher pulls out Smith at the start of round 11, as the previous 10 is of him being bashed up left, right and center by the Saint!

smigga has taken stock after the degale loss though, & hes looking better for it. More patient, more fluid, & we all know he hits hard, very hard. Groves has been riding his luck, especially with that gift he got when got the nod over Degale.

an unfit Kenny Anderson gave Groves a going over until he gassed, & Im thinking that a focused, fully prepared & more relaxed Smith can win this one early if he just walks down Groves like Anderson did.

Im picking Smith for the shock here, stopping Groves in the 4th round.

Having said that though Groves has to fight back first and not get on his bike & steal another awful decision like the Degale one.
