I can see Enzo fighting the winner to get him a ranking for the inevitable Cleverley fight.

Agreed, it certainly looks like the plan.

Could back fire though cause McKenzie can punch.

Depends which Ovil turns up against Enzo. Ovil in the first Bellew fight knocks cack out of him but if it is the one that turned up in the second fight he loses.

Enzo isn't fighting Ovill, he is having a tune-up.

This is hardly an inspiring card, I had quick look on BoxRec and the match ups are small hall esque, novice fighters against journeymen, and with all due respect Jeff Evans has never done anything so that should heavily favour Ovill in the main event.

I agree with you about the card. Tyrone Nurse is close to 20fights and he still hasnt had any real test at all, its weird. It seems though it was only going to be a local, small hall non televised card but he must not be named has jumped on it and given it some clout to get it on boxnation.

I love the small hall lesser names though, often the better fights!!!

Can be very hit and miss, of course you will see a quality new fighter you aint heard of before or a good dust up but your also gonna see a few mismathces but I guess you get that with every card.

I find you get less mismatches than on the bigger cards.

I want competitive fights, I don't mind fighters developing but do they need to be fighting "development" 4/6 rounders up until they have had a dozen or more fights.

This card from top to bottom is the home average novice fighter V low level heavy underdog journeyman. That sort of match making does not make for good TV, they're just adding W's to their record but it doesn't get them anywhere. Tyrone Nurse should be taking British Title Eliminators at this point or at least making some kind of step up, he could look sensational on Friday and not have any improvement to his ranking.
