what sort of headgear do you use, any why? i normally use open face with just a chin strap and its pretty light and heaps of visibility. i saw on the contender they were using full face head gear but i can only imagine that'd be annoying as hell, with not much visibility especially of your oppenents elbows and midriff..i've never been hit flush on the face anyway (which is probably just a matter of time haha) but to me that kinda suggests that full face is a bit un necessary

i get bloody noses incredibly easy, pretty much every second time i spare.. so im considering the full face headgear.

the owner of my gym sparred a guy who used cleto reyes gloves and got his nose broken. He's still getting used to his full face but he feels it was a better choice to protect his face. Not in the mood to be getting his nose broken just trying to help someone train. .

I use the 'mexican-style' headgears, great protection and visibility and lightweight.

I personally use the open face headgear, I might switch since my contacts keep getting knocked out

Can i ask which brand you are using, beacuse i have been looking for some mexican headgears, but they all look like there all is to bulky and block your vision to much.
