Mayweather was faster than Pacquiao,He's not heavy-handed. It's wierd.

Clottey: I didn't want to get knocked out.

Clottey on Magarito/ Pacquiao: Magarito doesn't think Pacquiao has the power to hurt him. He has the power to hurt him

If you're talking about bowing down to him, Clottey bows to no one except Allah

He also said this. I guess it's mixed.

PS ignore the bull**** about the fight being fixed, just listen to what he says about Pacquiao

Well i'm Jeet kune Do guy and I have been training for about yr. now, I know exactly how bruce got his power. The one inch punch I haven't got to yet because that's at advance but the main thing about power is the impact when you hit the hit the target and it all has to do with being loose before the impact and tense when you hit the target.(and the use of the hips) My power has increase tremendously from training that way. Basically to get to the point(because i'm not gonna give my secrets away) techinque is everything because without that first, you'll never get the full power or speed. Speed can even be increased if you do it the right way. And punching with weights ain't gonna do it, most guys think that's what does it but there's more effective ways of doing it to increase it more, and I guarentee nobody knows it, unless they understand the physic's of body mechanics and practices it daily. I know Tommy Carrurthers knows it.(the Jeet Kune Do guy in scotland) Shane Mosley would never get the full power in his punches because he tenses up too much when he punches. If I taught him, I can guarentee you, he'd have more power in his punches.

Without the right techinque, it still is not gonna do as much damage. It is true there some pressure points where you can take guys quick without useing a lot of power but it's illegal in boxing.

Yes, your right but he's also useing boxing mechanics by useing his hip if you notice. And believe it or not, you'll have way more power when you incorporate the two.

His useing wing Chun and Boxing again, this where all the power is coming from. A straightline is always gonna give you more power.

He made Clottey change by the amount of punches he was throwing the constant side to side movement and circling him. Only thing Clottey could of did to win is let his hands go more, but that's not his style, so that means he would gotten hit more if he did that. That's exactly why he was always covering up the way he was because Pacquaio took him out of his comfort zone.

I know it's way off topic but looking at that video made me wonder. . .how good of a boxer could Lee have been had he gone down that road?

    1. He was obviously fast (he's ****ing bruce lee for crying out loud!)

    2. He was a southpaw (didn't know this)

    3. He obviously had great stamina given the kind of conditioning he achieved with his body.

I think with just those three things he could have been a stylistic nightmare for many.

He would of been a great boxer according to Danny Inosanto. Infact he boxed when he was in Hong Kong, and most people don't know that. The problem is, boxing has too many restrictions and rules, and he didn't believe a real could be in a controled environment because than it's not real fighting. It's the reason why he got into the movies more because could not only make more money but be recognized world wide by doing so. He could of did a lot of tornnament and won but mostly die hard martial fans would of only knew who he was. He wanted to be known worldwide. Not only that, they didn't have any no holds barred fighting in that time, martial artists were more traditional back in those days. So only thing there was were street fights and challenge matches.

It's just that Pac is a much better and faster brawler then Mosley.

That stuff would be null against Mayweather. A master boxer will beat Pac as easily as he beat Mosley.

Iv read Tszyu talk about this sort of thing and his punching technique. He compared the impact of his punch to Chinese balls which are metal balls that contain a second ball inside, the second impact doing the greater damage.
