    Morrison was stalking Welliver. Popping up out of the crowds at his fights in the USA. Chauncy would be kicking somebodies arse and winning another round and then he would look up.....Tommy Morrison is trying to be Sting and watching his fights from the rafters. I think he wants a shot at the APAC Title. He's the only dinosaur with courage left these days.

    Top ten heavyweight dont fight on ten day notice's anymore and 27

    minutes of a damm good show. well man you must have seen another

    fight i didnt , he looked out of shape and slow and for the last three

    rounds looked gased. he was target practice for a guy who got knocked

    out in one round to vitialy.

    Welliver was way out of shape...never expecting to fight such a high calibre guy and a call comes out of the blue. He proves his mettle. Solis smashed dudes like Monte Barrett. Chauncy held up to everything he threw. Yes he gassed, not the last 3 rounds though, he gassed after about the 2nd...not really gassed as he had great stamina even when he was way too big, but he lost his snap real fast and he had to stop punching and move way too much, too early.

    That is nowhere near what he is now. He could always go 12 cause his opponet can't knock him out, but he can now go 12 really hard rounds and he's throwing 40 punch combos on dudes. Some of these dudes are lucky there was no Solis ref around or they would be stopped.

    He took an ass beat from the Gold Medalist so he could buy his mom a house dude. And he really didn't get his arse beat. He had his moments too and earned the respect fo many people that night. That fight is why Jankelson is with him. Don King told him after the fight, damn you really can fight. And he's got his **** straight since then and is now a very serious HW force.

    Dude i respect how much you got your guy back and its cool that your

    very invested in him and you want to see him succeed. but in your heart

    name me a "real top ten heavyweight he can beat". iam not being a dick

    man i'am just not a believer in welliver and if he does in fact beat a

    "real'' top guy i'll be the first to say u were right but untill he does man

    he's just another guy

    Up until Barrett lost Tua was WBO #2 and Chauncy would have beat him. Amir Mansour is a tiny HW and a very old 39 HW. He is WBO #8 and Chauncy beats him. I don't think David Haye would come anywhere near throwing enough to beat Welliver and would not KO him. I think he can out score Arreola on his A game. Fury is not Top 10 but I think he just out fights the kid in a brawl and a half. Dimitrenko IMO is right up his alley for a win. I would bet the farm on him vs WBA #1 Rahman or a highly rated Meehan.

    The toughest are the Klits, obviously. Povetkin is capable of a great work rate. A fit Eddie Chambers is a tough draw. Helenius is Klitschko light. All can be beaten but are real tough fights.

    Some of the other guys would be real tough fights too but many of those guys Chauncy whips. Rahman hasn't a chance in this world. I'd really like to see that as he'd snatch down a 3rd very high ranking beating Rock to a pulp.

    Welliver has beaten NO ONE of consequence. He stepped up once and got smashed. Okay, so maybe he has improved — but rather than having you serve as his press agent on ESB, why doesn't the mother****er take on better mid-range heavies?

    He's anonymous. Why would anyone fight him? At this point in his career he's a Solis leftover. He needs to lower his expectations and stop talking about fighting bigger names until he takes on better competition. There's a very large gulf between the guys he's fighting and even the lower top 10s.

    Did you ever think because they are already fighting guys better than Welliver? Look I know the guy comes on your radio show but he is absolute garbage. Period. He couldn't even beat Glass Jawed Odlanier Solis who Klitschko swatted out of the way with one short hook in 3:00.

    Why would anyone want to waste time fighting Welliver for no money when they can fight someone better for more money and get exposure on TV? Welliver brings NOTHING to the table. Not a god damn thing. Why would someone fight Welliver for pennies and not on TV when they can fight an Arreola, Chambers, etc. on TV for more money?

    Your logic is so ass backwards it isn't even funny. It should be the other way around. Welliver is terrible. Just the Facts. Not trying to be an ass just being realistic.

    Tua would fight him to get ranked for both Klits. Briggs as well. Other lower rated guys would fight him to get a much higher ranking.

    But, your whole point is why Welliver is so active. Plan B MF'r! If they won't grant you a match, grind away on the regional title defenses until you get something mandated. Nobody is fighting more title fights than Welliver at HW.

    The klitschko's would kill him as would helenius sorry mate thats the facts,

    tua is an old version of himself as is rahman. Povetkin and Eddie

    Chambers he's not fast enought. chageav would out work him to, Arreola

    is a big puncher and would stop welliver more then likely kinda early. most

    places have barrett ranked in the mid to low twenty's, just because the

    wbo and wbc have him ranked doesnt mean he's a real contender man

    sorry it not gonna happen for him maybe he can try something else before

    he gets hurt

    Eat **** eazy. The man has the #2 current HW streak of pro HW rounds without going down. 343....2nd only to Oliver McCall who has a whopping 18 years on him.

    This man has taken Wlad's shots, Tyson, Briggs, Povetkin, Valuev, Huck, Bidenko, Dokiwari, Tua, Cameron, Whitaker, on and on and on.

    You say he could be hurt or be stopped? He's been the busiest damn HW and the most proven HW of the last decade...by miles. He's been on a marathon while these others are sitting at the bus stop waiting for a free ride.

    Yeah, I mean, if he actually steps it up again and wins, then I would be impressed. But going right to guys like Povetkin, etc. is WAY too big a jump at this point. Welliver should fight a few gatekeeper types, see how he does. THEN, if he gets past those guys, take on the top contenders

    It must be really tough to decide to quit, no matter how old you are. Especially if you're not well-off financially and basically have no other options.

    Tua seems like a decent guy, & gave us many entertaining fights. I wish him well.

    If he's serious about fighting on American television, he needs to take a spot on ShoBox for less money, or maybe the first fight on a PPV card. His ranking is immaterial: You are what money you bring to the table.

    No one is going to fight him when the public has no idea who he is.

    Look man i was tryin to be nice but whatever Welliver is a poor man

    version of joe hipp and the only other thing iam going to say about this is

    you have got to be from australia or new zealand cause your a homer for

    this guy, mate he not even jimmy thunder come on you know tht and if

    welliver gets a chance to fight against a real top heavyweight i sincerly

    hope he make's it out ok
