Do you think Floyd might have spotted something recently that he can exploit in Pac?

I for one believe Floyd was intent on fighting Pac the first time around, but after the Mosley fight I noticed he was pissed off when he had to talk about round 2, so he might have been wary that losing isn't all that far-fetched for him which might be why he decided to take some time off.

Perhaps seeing Pac fight with Mosley, and Mosley's recent comments about the fight have spurred some sort of epiphany in which boosted his intent to make the fight?

    Thoughts?

I think Floyd has seen things that he can exploit for sometime now. BUt its easier said than done. PAc is so fast that he gets away with fundemental flaws

Pac fight is just around the corner, Floyd is making some noise to make himself relevant.

Going by what we know already he is more likely waiting for such before he fights him. Something he's sure he can capitalize on to get the sure win. Right now I guess he's hasn't seen that yet.

Floyd looks at pac the same way he always has...too small, ...and once pac gets frustrated(Floyd loves frustrated idiots), his lateral movement vanishes, his angles vanish, his punch-unpredictability vanishes, his punches get wild and looping..But Floyd sees Pac now the same way he first saw him when he came out of retirement to fight marques...its just that this whole time Pac was ducking Floyd and Floyd is so hard to understand that people misconstrue his actions for something else...such as Floyd stuttering ...Anyone who has been watching Floyd knows that if u ask him what time it is, he will start stuttering and change the subject...if u ask him about Pacman he will do the same...so nothing has changed...he sees Pac the same way he always seen him..as a guy that has a blueprint on how to beat em!..Oh and as far as Floyd retiring after Mosley...Search ur facts..He retired cuz Pac DIDNT agree and there was no one else to fight! This is untrue because he watched the Pac/Cotto fight at home and called him one-dimensional, and mentioned he was amused when people were chanting his name post-fight

I think it is a possibility that Floyd made the comments concerning a possible fight between him and Pac to try and distract Pacquiao for his next fight, hoping that he loses so he can say Pac lost to someone MW already beat, and that he doesn't need to fight him to improve his legacy.

I like Kings sarcasm there ...

Floyd has everything it takes to beat Pac.
At MINIMUM a 5" reach advantage (seen it stated longer than the 72" that is on boxrec)
    at Minimum 2" height advantage
(again Boxrec? He looked taller than Victor Ortiz but Boxrec has him shorter...?)

Hmm just noticed the weights that Boxrec have down for Floyd...
WTF is up with Boxrec and Floys info? (being incorrect - see Marquez fight)

    Anyway,
His speed is on par with Pac (Pac is probably a bit faster BUT not enough to make a "speed" difference"
Together with height and reach. He can play PECK all night with 1-2's.

The ONLY problem is that Floyd cares about 1 thing in life.
His EGO. That 0 on his record means more than all the money or even his family. (sadly) He is literally consumed by it. He got cold feet and fabricated a way out that allowed himself to maintain this ego.
    Twice ...
He doesn't have to fight Pac and can forever say he would have beat him if he had. And just like any other blind faith. How can you disprove it?

I said it both times. Wont happen. And
even if they sign for a 3rd, I will never believe it until AFTER the fight has started.

Floyd can make all the noise, for as long as the fight will take place.

No Floyds opponents he has known he can beat nit because they've been bad but a fighter usually knows when he is better. With the emergence of PAC it has made him hungry again like the old days when he was in the amateurs. He is willing to take the motto of high risk high reward and achieve all the glory.

    Ladies and gents it's time.

Floyd has been ducking pac for years now, when he gets in the ring with Pac and the bell rings I will then believe Floyd will fight Pac.

He thought the PAC fight will pay out like the Ortiz fight not knowing PAC and Ortiz are miles apart in skills, balls, and heart.

Which plays into PAC's hands to land the fight, a confident Mayweather will easily sign the fight then a scared one which has been the case for far to long.
