My problem with it is Mayweather didn't say the he wants Pacquiao on May 5th, he didn't come out and say that straight up. They are saying they want the biggest fight "possible" for May 5th. I'll believe it when the bell rings.

 

I get the same feeling. Ellerbe mentioned "the little fella" but why not go ahead and say we want Pac next?

Remember before the Ortiz fight, Mayweather said Pac was next but then after the fight he said he never said Pac was next and that people were putting words in his mouth? This could easily turn out to be the same thing. Mayweather can say we never said Pac, we just said biggest fight and (name of any boxer) is the biggest fight.

 

No not really. Depends on their consistency and So far they are more consistent compare to Mayweather's camp. I mean, you don't see Pac saying in videos that he wants Floyd and a week later say he never said anything like that.

One thing Team Mayweather is consistent though. They are consistent in ducking Pac. :deal

 

It's amazing how floyd and Ellerbee can flat out say Pacquiao, the biggest fight possible etc. and folks still not sure if that's what he's talking about. Yet let Arum say testing hasn't been an issue for a year and a half (when they're have been multiple answers in that year and a half) and for some reason there shouldn't be any reason to question that.
