He has always been my favourite out of our prospects, hopefully they start stepping up his level of opposition this year. He should win comfortably when out next, after this fight who would you like to see him in with in the near and distant future. I personally think he will become the best middle we have had in a long time!

ye i saw that eliminator for the middleweight title, (hill and hope?) and i didnt think they were miles better than BJS but then he's yet to face anyone of note, if he starts stepping up i can see him moving quickly

ye he has been impressive so far, like you said he's one of the better prospects we have, i dont think theres any risk testing him now, keep stepping it up for him, i dont think theres a danger in that

see thats the thing, who is there in britain? id like to see him fight hill (think thats winnable for him) then assuming murray vacates the title fight hope for the vacant middleweight crown defend it a couple of times, then youve got to start looking abroad then maybe mcewan in a few fights time? he really should be looking to be british champion at some point next year

He's fighting for the Southern Area Title this saturday, decent little step up for Billy Joe. Hopefully 2012 is his year and he can edge closer to a british title shot, he is very talented.

2012 must be his year. With Macklin, Barker, Murray and McEwan all on the world stage the division is wide open domesticly.

Its progress i suppose but the guy he is fighting has won five lost two, i will be surprised if he is tested that much. That said i have never seen boulden fight so you never know!

He could be involved in some good domestic scraps with Paul Smith, Eamon O'Kane, Martin Murray and Kerry Hope for the British title in the next few months .
