"Golota would be happy to see that Mollo ends up like Riddick Bowe."

Why would you say something like that? Do you think that is funny? and if it is true, it would indicate that Golota is an evil person.

Unfortunately, Andrew's style of fighting - many very heavy punches, but no quick KO's - seems to cause lasting damage to his opponents.

You are right. Sometimes my sense of humor is bent out of shape a bit. But considering all the suffering Golota & his fans have gone through, it makes me feel good to think of Golota as a wreaking machine & if those guys are stupid enough to get in the ring with Golota, then they have to pay the price.

But I would NEVER wish extreme damage on any fighter, no matter who's he's fighting.

Golota is awesome, especially at age 40. Ruiz is a heavyweight that you can say "sucks", not Andrew Golota.

According to Golota's trainer (Sam Colonna), Mollo spent the entire night in a New York Hospital. He was vomiting profusely and complaining of severe headaches. There was suspicion of brain damage. Mollo paid a tremendous price for his encounter with Andrew.

Those who don't know, Colonna has known Mike Mollo since he was a kid. Sam even trained Mike at one time. If fact, they live just blocks from each other.

    Hope he's OK.

This is bad news. I hope he's OK too. Ironically he looked so good after the fight, smiling, unmarked.

Mollo wouldn't go down, and he has a tremendous sense of balance so he stays upright no matter what. Too much for his own good.

I was rooting for Golota and am glad he won it. This is terrible news and my prayers are with Mike Mollo and his family. I think everyone in the Golota Express thread should say a prayer for him and hope he is going to be okay.

This a perfect example of just how powerful a man Andrew Golota is. You are better off being knocked out quickly by the likes of Lennox Lewis os Tyson thantaking a sustained beating from Golota like the unfortunate likes of Bowe, Sanders and now Mollo.

Damn. I hope Mollo's alright. I'm sure he'll be ok though. He's a tough one.
