Anyone think this is all a ploy by the Mayweather camp?

    Lame.

What we've actually needed for this fight to take place all along is for one of these assholes (Floyd or Pacquiao) to step up to the plate and verbally demand the fight of the other.

That hasn't happened yet. We've seen neither of these assholes step up and embrace the type of attitude that truly great champions like Marvelous Marvin Hagler had when he reigned supreme as middleweight king.

    He demanded the big fights.

Pac and Floyd have been so wishy washy and indecisive that it's SHAMEFUL!

I, for one, applaud Floyd for stepping up.

Make no mistake...the public demand is what's created this fight.

All we've needed all along is for one of these guys to truly want it and to call the other guy out. While that's not exactly what Floyd did, he at least had the balls to finally take this fiasco a step in the right ****ing direction.

Because most don't want the fight to happen just like Arum doesn't and would much rather continue saying the PBF chicken stuff and make cute chicken PBF avatars.:deal A number of them have already gone on record saying PBF would beat Pac, that right there should tell you everything you need to know.:deal If the fight takes place their worst nightmare will come true PBF gives Pac a boxing lesson and they can no longer keep this PBF is trash **** up anymore and their game is over, they would be forced to admit what knowledgeable boxing fans already knew all along and that's PBF > Pac.

Pay more attention and don't conveniently select information that fits your agenda while disregarding the rest.

Could it be more posturing, perhaps. I've been predicting for sometime now that Floyd will face Khan and Pac will face Bradly prior to the two of them finally meeting each other - and I still think this is likely how things will unfold. I am however intrigued to see how negotiations will go in the coming weeks after the Pac-JMM fight when drug testing is finally settled as the primary obstacle - and if a new obstacle emerges.

My thoughts are...this stuff, you know, common sense, won't matter to floyd's supporters. I don't think Floyd's fanatics deal in reality. But this, you are spot on.

If floyd really wanted to face Pac, why do this, and why now? It's like his announcing a fight right before Pac fights someone. His timing is calculated. He could just a couple weeks after Pac fights, but no. And yet, the idiots will blame Arum for this.

I think you can make a case for both sides. I don't understand how you can say if Floyd really wanted the fight he would allow Manny to not take the test but not in the same breath say if Manny wanted the fight he would just take the test. I think it is just negotiations nothing more nothing less each side wants it their way.

Speaking for myself, i'll believe it when the fight is signed. Until then, this is all just postering and bull****. All Floyd said was he had the MGM set aside in May. He could fight Khan for all we know. Talk is cheap. Let's see what actions take place.

Well said. This is the first direct shot from either fighter.

If Mayweather asked for 60/40 or said Pac can't train in the Philippines then the public will turn there attention to that and away from the date and venue. The public will only care about the issues that are stopping the fight from happening not the issues that both fighters agree upon.

If Mayweather ask for 60/40 or says that Pac can't train in Philppines then the majority would side with Pac as they would not feel those are fair terms. May 5h and MGM grand on the other hand are logical and great terms which is why the majority accept that. If Mayweather booked a March date then people would be more suspect.

But as usual all you guys have are your conspiracy theories and assumptions. Isn't Mayweather supposed to be going on vacation again and fighting Khan after a yr vacation?

It is a ploy because Floyd already has a done deal with Martinez.

Watch Floyd walk out of the negotiation at the first hitch they could blame on Team Pac.

Then Floyd will announce the Martinez fight.

Like that means **** all... Floyd also supposedly was OK a 14-day cutoff the first time they negotiated.
