If DLH can take a tune-up fight, why can't Money May?

I agree with everything you just said except I think it will be more exciting this time because Floyd will throw more punches. Nobody can adjust like he can so it doesn't matter what Oscar does he will get beat to the punch. I am in no way endorsing this rematch but it will be fun to watch him beat Oscar worse this time. I hate Oscar. Gotta respect him as a fighter and his hustle but I still hate him.

Me too, but this is boxing.

This is the life that Floyd chose.

This isn't like the other sports out there, this is legalized fighting.

If you're going to go around town running your mouth, you have to put up.

Now, you're probably older, but imagine when you were younger if some kid ran around your block talking all this **** about he could whup anybody's ass and he's the best fighter around.

You know that people are going to want to test him.

But the difference here is that when your in a real life situation running your mouth, often you have no choice but to fight or risk humiliation or have to pack your **** and leave.

In boxing Floyd can hide behind his excuses and his fans.

    ..........

Man, you know what I'm talking about.

Why isn't Cotto going after Mayweather so we can see the biggest fight possible in the WW division?

Thats why you're still a child. It's not like when you were younger and somebody was talking trash. This is boxing. He's the best in the world. Even his contenders agree he's the best in the world...same feel they can beat him, but RIGHT NOW he's the best in the world. Fighting Margo means nothing...fighting Williams or Cotto means something. Oscar-Floyd 2 will be good for the sport because it'll bring in more casual fans just like the first one did. I'm not buying the 2nd fight, but it's good for the sport. We're all better off without ignorant fans like you..:hi:

I feel you Cap. Really I do. Floyd has been fighting his entire life though and probably sincerely needs a break. What he is doing this year is no different than what Oscar has done the last 4 years. All that talk is just that TALK.

Not to spoil the fun in this thread, but DLH is only taking a tuneup because FM refused to fight him in May due to the fact that he wants to take a extended vacation from the ring. DLH is doing the smart thing finally as he realizes his major downfall over the past couple of years is his stamina....caused mostly due to his inactivity in the ring. Fighting a smaller elusive fighter in his tune-up will be better preparation for his bout with the fleet footed, back turning, master of slap flurries himself, FM!!! :rofl
Hopefully, in his tune-up fight, DLH will not look for any KO's and consistantly work his jab over the entire 12 rounds...that would be the best route to help build confidence in the fact that he can jab effectively over the entire bout. If the above can be accomplished he has a good chance to win the rematch.

Floyd is a grown man. He shouldn't be out there talking all that **** anyway.

Maybe he needs Jesus in his life.

    I don't know...........

    But.........you know the game.
