    BTW - Gamboa-Rios is NOT gonna happen in Jan. I guarantee you that.

    Its more likely we'll see Gamboa vs Roman Martinez.

    Berto-Ortiz would be really good if they could put that rematch together on that date. The Alexander-Malignaggi winner probably fights the main event winner but I just can't get excited at all over an Alexander-Malignaggi match. Two non-aggressive, light hitting, counterpunchers just spells boring. Good main event but they need a better opening bout that that one.

    I would have guessed Ortiz to take an elongated break from boxing. Great way to start the year off if this fight gets made.
