That's what one fight can do. I think the Guerrero beatdown room something from him that night. Lost his sting he had, granted he can bang but he looks shopworn. Shame, he is one of my fave fighters.

Chill out, old man! If he acted with a little humility he wouldn't have turned so many against his fighter.

if this fight is anywhere near close Rawling and co will spend the whole time talking about how people had been 'proven wrong' etc and marking scores against Groves accordingly

Maybe its a case of cause and affect, The worst Kats? maybe Burns boxing made him look worse, but many are quick to not give credit and right off the loser and take credit away from the winner.
But in britain its a sad fact that we kick our guys in the balls quick and look at over seas fighters with rose tinted glasses, its a case of rear guard action by many British boxing fans

im scottish and thought burns would win on points in a very hard fight....i do think the judges scores were far too wide....far too wide for a fight i thought was very close.

i had it 115-114 burns or 6-5-1 , the round i scored a draw i was going to give to burns because he landed a big clean punch near the end of the round but i didnt think it was enough to clearly win the round....that round was number 11.

great fight as we all expected
