    GREAT FIGHT. Although i'd bet money that a rematch would produce another great fight but different result. WOW that fight was beautiful lol

    Kirkland was a machine...non stop punching...Took a bomb and a beating for the first half of the first round..then got his legs back and completely dominated Angulo until the stoppage...

    Good fight.
    Want a rematch.
    He doesn't have punch resistance. He did a great job training and also outboxing... believe that- outboxing someone... Angulo looked dead tired after 1 ... sad

    I think Canelo actually beats Kirkland.

    Kirk got tagged by a straight right in the first, went down, Angulo tried to finish, didnt happen, Kirk came back and knockdown Angulo, Angulo never recovered till the stoppage.

    angulo kind of landed a counter straight while kirkland was pressuring him, kirkland was close to being dropped again for about 40 seconds and then he recovered and angulo had punched himself out


    kirkland dropped him at the end of the round


    kirkland was moving angulo back before the first KD and looked like he was starting to control the fight, but he was getting wild, after the KD its like he ****ing woke up and started fighting slightly more careful and he was actually defending, he started outboxing angulo and it looked like he was about to drop angulo again as the ref stepped in

    Very good fight, but not a great fight. Great fighters fight great fights. One guy is open and the other one is fast. They are landing, but just too open guys. Not a Hagler/Hearns by anyones standard.

    questionable if kirkland and especially angulo can win a title belt!!!! HBO overrated this. People want another Hagler/Hearns so they get an action first round and kellerman says this will be remembered for years. . I don't think it was that good!!!! It was exciting but not Hagler/Hearns or Corales/Castillo.

    After the 1st round it was over, Marquez vs Concepcion 1 was a far better fight than this one. That's Fight of the Year
