All Bute need do is stop ducking and fight a live body. He is SUPPOSED to be IBF champ, so it shouldn't be this hard.

well... i watched the match and im a bit disappointed... Johnson defended all the time Bute didnt force a KO... we all knew Bute will outbox Johnson... but i hoped Johnson will open in the later rounds to look for a win... against Froch he did it... but Bute made him pay once he opened so Johnson kept closed just jabbing with his left... everytime he used his right... Bute's left will hit over the top

 

I'm upset about the scoring of the fight. Two judges had it 120-108 the correct score. One judge had it 119-109, that mother ****in ruined his shut out! That was a ****in shut out like Lebedev vs Toney.

Shut outs are important to us European " soccer" fans and Canadian hockey fans. That was a ****in ruined shut out.

 

i thoght bute vs johnson was a very gppd fight

 

Bute looked like he had 10-20lbs on Johnson and breezed through the fight. He would mess froch up if they fought.

 

Thought this was the first big test for Bute, but after this fight, we don't no s..t about his true level..........................i.l guess we just have to wait ..................strange fight.................:huh

 

why,cause he made johnson look like an amateur who's more interested in not geting ko than the win?bute outbox johnson till round 6,then the old man was staring to show his age and was caried till the end.i don't really buy what bute said on romanian tv,that he hurt his hand in 9th,i think he never wanted to hurt johnson and went easy on him when the tank was empty.

 

I don't blame Bute....Thought we should se him under max pressure from an attacking, going forward throwing punches Roadwarrior.... All we saw was aeehh.............well look like a sparring session to me..............and leaves us with a lot of un answered quistions...................

 

Bute will clear out the division given the chance and you will still say: but is he any good? Is he really proven? Would he have beaten a PRIME Kessler in 2009, etc.

Some people just don't like Bute being Bute.

Just don't think we knows for sure, how good Bute will be under pressure vs. more talented fighters............
