When I saw Ricky Burns Being smashed by Carl Johanssen, I didnt think he would ever become a 2 weight world champion.

For me, that is one of the greatest sports comebacks ever!

Ricky Burns has been ripped on this forum for his last 2 opponents, for this fight he takes one of the toughest fights possible and does the biz.

For all you doubters, GET IT RIGHT UP YA!

Now winning the interim title also makes you a 'world champion' eh?

He isn't a 2 weight world champion. I think he should try and fight Demarco. Winnable fight for Ricky.

    :good

Only seen a couple of DeMarco fights - his last against Linares, and him getting blown out by Valero.

Judging from the former, I agree... could be a winnable fight for Ricky.

I hope once he gets a little more accustomed to the weight a little more power comes with it. Imagine what he could achieve with a little more snap in his punches (taking nothing away from him and his recent performances.)
