The way I see it, Pac changes his style depending on who his opponent will be. Against Margarito, Pac was slow because he was throwing more power shots. In the Mosley fight, Pac was very one dimensional, almost similar to how he was back in his 130lbs. days. Against Hatton, Pac was so fast. Against Cotto, Pac was using angles and was not wreckless. Pac was using angles against fishnets.

I think against Marquez, Pac will be using speed and power. Pac will show us the meaning of SHOCK and AWE.

One of the myths of this fight is that Pacquiao is so much bigger than Marquez. He isn't, and never has been. When Pac fought at 130 he would rehydrate to 140-141lbs. When he fought at 125 he went up to 138-139. To drain himself to that weight he would lose a good 5 or 6lbs of natural bodyweight - when you're as ripped as him that is hard work and that's one of the reasons I believe he is stronger and tougher at the higher weights - he is hydrated can can eat lots of healthy food.

If you think about it Pac weighs in 147-148 in all his welterweight fights on fight night now - 6 maybe 7lbs more than when he fought at 130. All this nonsense that he has added 14lbs of muscle is garbage - he has been a natural 140lber for a while and you don't need any drugs to get 6lbs heavier in natural weight over even as little time as 3 months. Anyway beside the point.

Pac will not be, repeat not be bigger than Marquez by much at all, if by anything. Marquez will be around low 140's, Pac around mid 140's. As others have said Pac relies on different strategies, but all revolve around speed, and he knows to get bigger than 148 or 149 would jeopardise this. His natural weight is 10 and a half stone (147) rehydrated, expect, Manny to be just as fast as ever and Marquez to be of similar size and weight.

Marquez will be bigger than Pac on fight night, making him the 8th consecutive bigger guy that Pac has fought. I'm hoping that Pac punishes Marquez for a very long time before a TKO stoppage.

I went and saw Pac this week, and he looks very lean and fast.

Would not be surprised if Marquez outweighed Pac at the weigh-in.

    Yes, he does.

Marquez is putting on bazooka arms.. and neck.. and shoulders.

But.. Pacquiao is looking VERY sharp.

he's in perfect shape for a boxing match. Marquez is a little too bulky, probably because he needs that extra weight, but it doesnt seem suitable for a welterweight fight.
