youre watching the wrong sport if this bothers you....maybe youre too used to mismatches, quick stoppages ect...but boxing is a battle of wills when it comes down to 2 evenly matched fighters...if its brutal, its supposed to be because they can do what most people cant...give and take....now go watch tennis or golf

Are you by per chance a British referee or commentator? This thread would make a lot of sense then.

With Kirkland's China Chin, Angulo was always a chance.

This is gonna get **** all over but here goes: I don't think Angulo was out on his feet at the time of the stoppage. I think he was scared to death of taking another body shot. Early in the fight he was holding his hands up. After round 1, his elbows never left his navel again. I think Angulo figured he could take those shots to the head. He didn't want another punch to the body....As to the topic of the thread, its not easy for a ref or a corner to stop a fight when their fighter is still throwing punches. And this was one of those fights where a single good punch could have changed the outcome....

I think your being a bit racist.....you should ask yourself why any other race of trainer dont let his fighter leave it all in the ring !! ...How come roy's jones, holyfield's trainer's Dont stop their fighter's from fighting ???..what about Meldrick taylor ??.it just seems you know how much Heart YOU have and are willin to put on the line and thats fine thats YOU !!...But some Mexican MEN believe in "leaving it all in the ring".....and they know the measure of their Heart which is why they wont quit unless they are stopped....which is why "Mexican" fighters have put on the THE BEST FIGHTS/WARS/TRILOGY'S In History as well as comeback's ....I'v never came away from a mayweather/mosley/bradley/dawson fight excited as i have from say a marquez/pac,morales/maidana/,morales/pac,chavez/taylor,linares/demarco.corrales/castillo,ortiz/berto ...AND ALL THE BEST FIGHTS ARE ALWAYS ON THE MEXICAN CHANNELS !!....NOT PAY-PER VIEW......Lol
