I know people will always say "If Vitali hits him, it's over" and that's probably true but I genuinely don't see Vitali landing a single good shot on Jones. He might cuff him with the odd arm punch, as Vitali does, but he wouldn't land anything solid. Jones would be far too fast, both hand and feet, he'd show Vitali skills he can't even comprehend and he'd embarrass him on the way to a shut out decision.

    Jones 120-108 Vitali.

Wlad knocks Jones out, but Vitali loses every minute of every round.

56 posts in, we've established that you're not great :patsch

Roy Jones is my favorite all time fighter, but there's a huge difference between Ruiz and Vitali. Please watch more of Vitali K, come back and report.

By the way, Roy was more than 193, the scales were wrong, he entered Camp at 192 and gained weight throughout, watch 'The sweet science'

When RJJ's back touches the ropes against Vit its game over. Its not like Ledebev is a much more mobile fighter than Vitali and Vitali would not hesitate before punching Roy to the canvas inside 4 rounds.

And you, Newb, do not compare shot Roy to the Roy pre Tarver 1, there is no comparison, this Roy doesn't even compare to the one who fought Tito or Calzaghe.

I've seen every fight of Vitali's. He struggled with the elusiveness of Chris Byrd and would have a huge amount more trouble against Roy Jones, who was faster, more agile and superior in most ways to Byrd. There have been very few fighters who knew how to completely avoid shots as well as Jones could and there is absolutely nothing - nothing - in any Vitali fight which makes me think he could land.
    Official weigh in was 193lbs.

Weigh in starts at 2:28, watch from there till the end.

Obviously Roy would have moments, but to suggest he embarrases Vitali is just plain stupid.

Yeah, Vitali is terrible slow when he throws power punches. His power only comes into play if he can land and does anyone seriously see such an abysmally flawed technical fighter, who happens to be slow as ****, landing on a 193lb Jones Jr.?

    No way.

So your point is that Jones' official weight was 193lbs after I said Jones' official weight was 193lbs? I'm glad we agree.

    ;)
Let's keep this simple: Can you name any fight of Vitali's, just one single fight, which makes you think he would have the ability to land on Jones?

****ing Kevin Johnson made him look terrible for the vast majority of that fight. Chris Byrd made him miss frequently.

    1. Roy's official weight was 193, you're right. The man himself shows you that he was not 193 in the same video, but yeah if 'official' is what you want then yeah, you're right.

    2. Kevin Johnson didn't even engage, he was a *****. Roy would atleast throw offensive punches. Vitali K has been a very good Heavyweight champion, he's not close to his prime now, he's had severe back and knee injurys that restrict his mobility. He does and or did have the timing to time Roy atleast a few times in the fight, Ruiz caught Roy very few times but he did catch him, Vitali is a whole different league, superior in every way.

Byrd gave him problems, Vitali was in the fight. At Heavyweight VK is favorite and Roy a live under dog, you can't base him embarrasing one of the best heavyweights of the last 10-15 years on a fight with John Ruiz, if so then David Haye would of taken the fight with Vitali and he'd be a 6/1 favourite.

Ah I presumed he meant RJJ now. Fair enough I could see a prime Roy Jones outpointing Vitali, I probably would favour Vitali 55-45 though its close.
