What are your 154 rankings right now after Kirkland's win?

I just dont see how Kirkland beats Cotto, especially after seeing him get dropped and hurt by Angulo, yea he came back but Cotto would finish him IMO

    Margo would also beat Kirkland.

Top two guys at 154 are Cotto and Marg, yes Marg in kind of unproven at 154 but still.

I'd say you have to put Margarito in the bottom half of the top ten right now. I think it'll be safe to take him out after the Cotto fight

You're right. He hasn't won at 154. But he has(is) campaigned at 154 and put up more effort against the P4P king than anyone since Cotto

Nah they're at 154, and I'd even go so far as saying that Wolak's win againt Foreman at this weight is more impressive than anything on Vanes' resume.

Yey so what ..but we do know he held his own( with a Prime top JM(and former champ) Daniel Santos, who was a very good fighter at the time....Lost on a TD with the outcome still up in the air as we know those rounds are Margos best..

Based on his style,Great Chin,Huge WW,good punch,Physically strong... Straight ahead style there is no reason to think he isnt or wouldnt have been a top dog at JM..

Just like at WW he walks down most fighters at JM only the slick boxers or elite boxer puncher types beat him at JM..... Even at the end of his career Margo is still probably a top JM and in his prime would have won a title...

A few years back only elite guys like ODLH,Winky, Mosley,Vargas beat him and WW versions would beat him too...But Margo would have beat titlist like Karmazin,Castallejo,Marquez and Yori Boy(what a war!!) and most of the others at JM.

I find it hard to give much credit to his post-Mosley power at this weight class since Garcia was openly laughing at him. Even if he beats Cotto, I still find it difficult putting him high on any ranking since Cotto doesn't really belong above 147 anyway. I also don't see how relevant projected outcomes from years ago are to his current standing in this division.

I think I would flip Canelo and Lara plus I would have to put Williams over Cintron. I think Williams could be above Bundrage even though he looked like **** his last fight! I think Angulo and Martiyosan would give him trouble ad might beat him but I say he beats Bundrage, Dzin and Cintron

He lost every minute of the fight against a ww. Calling it a lmw fight is reaching a bit imo.

    Until he wins he's unranked.

    Champ: cotto
    Canelo
    Lara
    Kirkland
    Molina
    Bundrage
    Pawel
    Delvin
    Trout
    Angulo
    Williams

Konecny and vanes are a good argument for any of the bottom 3 places.
