The fact that the government actually spent money investigating the fight when it was a close bout says something.
Big Toney fan here, but being honest I think Tiberi deserved the nod. Toney was ill that evening, he had the flu, add to that that he was extremely weigh-drained. He certainly shouldn't have fought that night, but being the old-school warrior he is he still did. It also shows how tough Toney is, I mean he was in such a bad condition, he could barely walk the last couple of rounds, and still went 12 with a pretty decent fighter. And it wasn't like he was being dominated in that fight like some people say here, he had his moments and won the first rounds. But unfortunately he couldn't knock Tiberi out. Anyways, no excuses, Toney took the fight and Tiberi deserved the decision imho. Whatever, Toney's been robbed a good few times himself, so I guess that makes more than up for it.
